Works very well and definitely recommend this product
My home office is upstairs on the opposite side of where my home's wifi router is located. Speed has been a bit sluggish so thought I'd give this a try. End result is a definite improvement of about 30%. Conducted a number of tests to verify my findings: 1) wire connected to my router 90 up / 90 down 2) wifi sitting next to my router 40 up / 40 down 3) back in my office connected to router wifi 23 up / 16 down 4) in my office wifi connected to the repeater 30 up / 27 down Took me about 3 minutes to config then was able to try out different places in my house. I located the repeater in my upstairs hallway, halfway between my office and downstairs router. Tried some other locations with good results but best is where its at now. Would definitely recommend this product and very pleased with simplicity of setup, performance and portability.

A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
Very disappointing. We thought when stalled it would make things better. It was an off and on fix. I was going to return it and then it started working again. “Murphy’s law” By the time we decided to actually return it it was just past my allowed time to do so. It worked off and on and for it to work it had to be re-connected each time we used it. It was rarely an automatic connection. Now I’m out approx $34-$35 which is UNACCEPTABLE. THERE SHOULD BE an acceptable return policy. Unless I can return this item I won’t use this retailer again. Since I can’t find a way to contact the retailer I can only send this review to warn everyone to BE CAREFUL. I read MANY....MANY......MANY of the reviews and this came across as a good product. I DO MY HOMEWORK on EVERYTHING I buy and this was truly a disappointment. If I hear back from the retailer and get my refund I will update my review. I guess we’ll see..........

Not all its cracked up to be.
I bought the hype about this device and then I got one. It took some time to set up compared to some of the TP line. It is a lot smaller than it looked online. Once installed my main router kept dropping off line then resetting. My TV (I have Amazon Prime and YouTube TV) both lost signal. Couldn't understand it since I have a killer strong signal. I have a main router at one side of my house and another router at the other side of my house cabled together to form a pair. As soon as I put the TP extender back on line all my problems went away. The only reason I bought the Super Boost was because it was 2.4 only so I thought less chance of interference with the 5G signal. I was wrong. Maybe in a different type of building it could be ok but not for me. I did call my ISP who installed the routers to see if there could be a conflict between the routers and the Super Boost and they didn't think so. If anyone is having a problem be sure your router is broadcasting a separated signal. If the 5G and 2.4G are running together you will be in trouble but your ISP can easily separate the signals while you talk on the phone.

Works very well!
I bought this to increase the Wi-Fi signal to a room in my home which couldn't get a good signal due to walls, etc. I configured the extender in the same room as the router, while the web page it has isn't very intuitive it wasn't difficult to figure out and I had the unit configured in 5 minutes. I placed the extender in a room directly over the room where my main wi-fi router is and the signal reachs to all areas. Response time is very good, in fact in one room of the house where the wi fi signal from the router and the extender have the same signal strength - the extender gives better performance. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is I have had to plug/unplug the extender twice in the first two weeks I owned it in order to reconnect to the router. At this point i have not had to do so in 2 weeks and after a recent power outage it came back on it's own so I am hoping that the problem is resolved. I did reset it to factory specs and reconfigured it the second time so it is possible the first two reboots were due to a bad configuration. Overall I don't think you can go wrong for the price.

I needed this for an additional plug-in drop
I purchased this because we are working from home and our router only had two ethernet spots and both were in my husband's office. I have a VOIP phone in another room but it HAD to be hardwired. This was the perfect solution! I just plugged this into a wall, plugged my VOIP phone in and I am up and running. I really didn't need it as a wifi extender so I can't really rate this aspect. I would definitely purchase again if I ever need another drop. It saved me a ton of time and holes in my wall to not have to hardwire a drop. This product was delivered very quickly and worked right out of the box. Thanks! UPDATE: Two years and it died! I guess for the price I can’t really complain but when you work from home and it dies - all work comes to a screeching halt!!! Frustrating!!!

Didn’t work consistently
Update 10/21/19: Seemed to work great, however, after using these for a couple weeks we noticed that we seem to have to reboot our modem router AND the extenders every day, the signal that we were trying to make better in the far reaches of our house was actually worse. We ended up returning the extenders when they didn’t consistently solve the problem we purchased them it to solve. Also note...Had to watch a few of the previous purchaser videos to make up for the confusing manufacturer directions.

What is The Reason It Has Never Worked?
Looking at photos by other customers, I see that I should have gotten instructions with my device, but I did not. I didn't get the black cord, either. I figured that meant I only had to plug it in. I couldn't tell if it was working by looking at it, and I couldn't tell a difference in WiFi reception in that area of the house. (I bought it so that my Ring doorbell would have better wireless reception.) Now, looking at directions on how to install it (in the answer under the Questions section), I do know how to install it. However, it doesn't work. It doesn't show up at all under my wireless list. It doesn't matter how close to the router and modem that I plug it in. It doesn't work. And now, because I waited so long to try to troubleshoot it, I cannot return my incomplete product, because the return date has long passed. I'm partially at fault for not being more inquisitive sooner-- but the seller is at fault for sending me an incomplete product.

AMAKE WIFI REPEATER
I have a television and Amazon Echo on my porch that was converted to a family room. The television is connected to a Roku for streaming AT&T TV. My internet provider is Frontier with 25Mdps. I found the signal strength on the ROKU was poor. When the television in the living room was in use the television on the porch would sometimes loose signal and picture. So the solution was a WIFI Extender. I reviewed several and decide on the AMAKE WIFI Extender. Glad I did! Setup was easy and within 10 minutes the signal strength on my Television on porch was excellent. No more picture buffering or music buffering. Recommended for solving this type of problem.
