My hair has changed to wavy over the last year-ish so I switched to the Curly Girl Method. I've been trying all kinds of products trying to find the right one for my wavy hair and I really like this one. If you've ever used their sunscreens it smells like the same coconut and slightly banana. The smell is pleasant but not so strong that it lingers and is overpowering. It has left my waves soft and hydrated. Using this along with their waves shampoo, 3-in-1 leave-in conditioner and wave style cream has done wonders for my waves. I wash every 2-3 days, refeshing in between with a bit of water and more 3-in-1 if my hair feels on the dry side. I would recommend it.

I really like this curl product! I have wavy hair and this keeps my hair less frizzy, holds the wave, and is not sticky. It smells light but the scent disappears. Big fan!

I have tried SOOO many curl creams/gels/sprays!I have curly/wavy hair. My friend called it Irish curls when it curls on bottom layer with some waves and just straight on the top layer… that’s my hair.But I tried this finally after seeing it as h highly rated product for years and passing it over, my mistake!As soon as I rinse my hair I put in artnaturals argali leave in, brush that through then spray shea moisture manuka yogurt leave in before plopping in a towel. Then after 20-30 min of leaving it wrapped up I put a 2-3 quarter sized drops of sun bum curl cream in and scrunch that in, focusing on the back of my hair. I do this all while my hair is still pretty damp and then leave it alone to dry. I get the best air dry curls I’ve had since before having my son 4 years ago! I love this stuff.Perfect balance of moisture and hold!Price could be a bit lower but a little goes a long way!I am very happy with this product!

This product smells great and is pretty light if used sparingly. If you use too much you will get that crunch. I like to put in wet and air dry. It controls frizz really well.

My hair is wavy and honestly I don’t even know what I’m doing taking care of it. I do know that for simple days I use Maui curl cream which is awesome, and for full styling days, I use this product which is so lightweight. Even though I have a lot of hair it’s fine. This smells yummy like all of their products, very soft, and helped keep my waves in line with no frizz. It didn’t dry out my hair which is a major plus. It’s a silky texture; I also use more than it says to. I use more like a quarter size for each side. Honestly great for touch ups too so it holds up well for my hair type. A bonus, if it does protect against the sun that’s amazing because my kiddos have sports five times a week, one of them being tennis which is outside for several hours.
