Shoulder rest
This was needed for my daughter (part of school supplies). She said it’s comfortable and good color, size, quality and works well. However she lost it since it doesn’t fit in the case and doest fold nicely to keep in the book bag with her music binder.

Good value, a bit flimsy
Great value for money, but has come apart a few times. We just have to rescrew

It works for the most part
I teach orchestra and I'm always looking for inexpensive shoulder rests. Most are completely trash, but this one has worked fairly well. The feet are very cheap and I don't love the angle of the rest, but it works better than nothing. If you can afford it, buy a better one, but I'll give this to students who seemingly refuse to get one and it doesn't hurt the wallet too much.

Poor design and quality
Poor support, unstable on the shoulder. Not enough cushion isolation allowing rigid edge from the structural component to touch the shoulder / clavicle.Hinged posts are poor quality as well.Very poor relation cost / quality; better products available for same or lesser cost at local shops (which is what I ended up doing).Do not waste your money and time with this deficient (design & quality) product.

I hate this shoulder rest!
Many years ago, when I was a violin student, my mom bought me a Kun shoulder rest. It’s comfortable and still in great shape now. I recently bought an electric violin and wanted a shoulder rest to keep with it. This one looked nice and the price was right. I figured that there were probably some pretty good lower priced options now.I was wrong. This shoulder rest actually hurts my collarbone. It isn’t tilted at the right angle for me and it doesn’t tilt. There is no comparison between this one and the Kun. Just spend the extra money the first time and buy it because you’re buying it either way.
