Good beginner drum set. Love it, a blast to play on. It was delivered a day early, no damage from shipping was well packed. Although it took me some time putting it together and tuning it up, it plays good the cymbals aren't the best, but if you like a beginner like me they will work. I would recommend getting hearing protection but I will check in a few months to report back on how its holding up, but its a solid set for the price, can't go wrong with buying this set. Although the weight limit of the thrown is 165 pounds so if your over that then be careful, even with me I am about 185 and it had been holding up with me on it pivoting and moving around so all in all its a good set.

The Drums and Heads are Great! The Hardware is Very Good Also! The Cymbals as stated in many reviews are not much better than Metal Garbage Can Lids... I'd Rather they charge a little more and add in some Good Cymbals... Not to worry, I am Upgrading the Cymbals... The Drums are Next To Perfect for me! They sound as Good As My old Set from 13 Years Ago... They were Ludwig's Also!!! Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would Recommend this set to others... I'm not an expert, but I feel this is a Good Set For the Price! They may be considered a Starter Set but I feel they are "A Touch Above" and am Very Happy with my purchase...

it looks beautiful and gorgeous.everything works great but the hi-hat and ride/crash.the seat isn't that comfy but you could hang with it.it took about 3 hours to set it up for someone who never set up an acustic drum set before.i would recommend getting a knew ride/crash and hi-hat but besides that stick with it.the peddles aren't that loose and not that hard.the stands have not yet slid around so far.ludwig to me is about a 7 out of(1-10).so good luck and i isn't that expensive for what u get.

Excellent drums for the money, and I did a lot of research. The cymbals are a throw away. I would buy this set again.

Overall, I feel this is a good set for adult beginners like myself. I like the sound of the different components. But I was disappointed to find that the set arrived incomplete - no hi-hat clutch or felts. I contacted the seller, and received no reply. I ended up purchasing $25 worth of items to finish the hi-hat set up.

Drum set is AMAZING!!! I love it so much! Only thing is the cymbals. Buy new ones as soon as u buy it. Plus a kick drum sticker pad. And maybe a tuner key if ur a new drummer like me. Besides that it sounds sooooooooo good!!!!!! I already started a band because of them. I recommend these to anybody.
