Good case but you might have to modify it if you don't want to cut a new key
The case is very similar to the original except it snaps together and has one small screw so it doesn't open accidentally. I did have to modify mine because I didn't want to take it to the dealer to cut the key. I would say it took me about 10 minutes to modify by shaving down the plastic axis on the button side of the key case. It is easy to do with a utility knife, now it works like a charm. You can also knock out the pins that hold the key into the base if you like.

EXCELLENT REPLACEMENT KEY FOB SHELL FOR 2008 RANGE ROVER HSE.
I cut the original Land Rover key fob open with a utility razor knife. Removed the circuit board. De-soldered the old battery out of the circuit. Soldered in the new Panasonic battery Panasonic ( 1X VL2330 ) Rechargeable, VL2330 - VL 2330, VL2330/HFN , 3V Lithium Coin Cell Battery, also found on Amazon. Swapped over the original "laser cut" Range Rover key to the new Fob. Use a small Watchmakers hammer and 1/16" pin punch from Harbor Freight to drive out the pins. I had to file the backside end surface of the original key to get it to fit into the swing out key socket pf the new Fob. I used the new blank key from the new Fob as a template. Once that was done, I made sure that the key had the proper spring tension so that it would (switchblade) open once pressing the button. I closed up the new key fob case and installed the included tiny screw to hold the case closed. I was then able to program the new remote using Guy's procedure included below. This worked like a charm on my 2008 Range Rover HSE: The process below worked great for me with both keys. They both now work completely - Thank you Programming a new Key(s) Replacing a missing master key is quite expensive from Land Rover, try not to get sucked into the extra cost of "Dealer coding" You can do this yourself in 2 minutes by following the simple process below. 1) Get in and close all doors. Turn ignition on and off quickly and remove the key (all within about 5 seconds). 2) Within 30 seconds of turning the ignition off, while holding down the "unlock" button, press the "lock" button three times. Release the "unlock" button. (You may or may not get the confirmation from the door locks.) Holding the key at your head level provides best results as the key sensor is in the side window pillar. 3) Repeat for each key you want to initialize within 30 seconds after the last one you initialized (if you have more). 4) Right after doing the last key, quickly put the key back in the ignition and turn it on/off again to finalize.

Difficult
This was difficult to change from my original key fob. Great pricing v/s the significant expense of a Land Rover charge. My husband and I don’t work on cars, but my son in law does, he still watches a YouTube tutorial to change it and it took over 30 minutes. Not able to close the key and release with the button, like the original. But ya get what ya pay for?!

Worked for me
2007 Range Rover Land Rover Supercharged: My buttons were shot. Exposed circuitboard. I replaced the cover only, using this kit. No key replacement worked perfectly.

Great replacement
Original key fob button had cracked exposing the circuit inside. This replacement was perfect. Easy to reseal with included screw. I used original key so no additional cost was incurred.

Garbage and cheaply made
The item came in and looks good. However, does not work well. original key did not fit well without modification and to top it off. The key flip binds and just does not budge. I continuously have to pick the key out of the fob every time I need to take the car out.
