Amazing story
Charlotte saw Sean Lawson give a speech at Yale years prior to his coming to the law firm she currently works at. She knew that she wanted to work his case but the firm's owner's daughter ended up with it. When it landed in her lap she took the meeting with Sean but it bombed because she hadn't had time to prepare however before she left she returned a cuff link that he lost at the speech he had given at Yale. Thinking that would be the end of that and her career Charlotte left. She was stunned the next day when he called and asked for her to be his lawyer. The attraction between them landed them in bed after going out one night together. Charlotte thought they had started something but then Sean started avoided her and calling her co counsel regarding his case. When the unthinkable happens and she finds out she's pregnant she attempts to talk to him privately but gets nowhere. When Sean finally coming to the office he embarrasses her with his comments and she tries to slip a note to him about the pregnancy but doesn't realize the note gets into the wrong hands. What will Charlotte do about her job when her pregnancy can't be hidden any longer? Will Sean step in and help or leave her on her own? This was a great story I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Sean and Charlotte is instantaneous and intense. If you haven't read anything from this series then you should grab this one you won't regret it.I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. I enjoyed it so much I ended up buying it.

Great book. Characters were wonderful and I loved the story line. I especially liked how Charlotte handled herself.

Slow read with unlikable leading man
Liked the storyline but this story was just too wordy. Also the tech billionaire Sean was unexplainably missing after he slept with our love interest Charlotte. What a rude prick. I liked the smart aggressive attorney Charlotte. The end of the story was happy and pretty good. I have loved all the other Holly Rayner books I've read. Linda

Absolutely wonderful!
I loved this clean romance. It was so sweet! I was laughing and crying all throughout.Right away, I started cheering for Charlotte. I loved that she had this crush, but that she also realized it was a fantasy and not reality. She was dedicated, hard working, a great friend, a fantastic lawyer, and I could go on.When Sean and Charlotte actually meet for the first time, it doesn't go well. I feel bad for her. He later wins me over. But then later I get mad at him for his actions. I want to yell at him don’t do that! He does prove later that he is amazing.I almost highlighted the entire book, I had to make myself stop and just enjoy the story.“I was a kid, Sean,” she said. “ I was eighteen years old, and all I wanted in the world was to go to Yale. When I saw you deliver that speech, it felt like everything I had ever wanted was possible.”There is more, but I don’t want to spoil it for you. Please read this book. You will walk away happier and with all those feelings a wonderful love story gives you!

Quick Read
Ten years before, Charlotte saw Sean speak during a tour of Yale. Now, she is a tech lawyer, and he the mogul. As chance would have it, they are both across the country now, and he is hiring her firm to represent him. Serendipitous, for their not-quite meeting all the years before, a cufflink, and a connection neither forgot. This case is big, and there's a lot at stake, more than either of them realize at first. Then, Charlotte discovers what one night can truly turn into.In full disclosure, I read this in exchange for an honest review. I waffled back and forth on what to rate this. I think I would actually give it a 3.5. Not my favorite of Holly Rayner's, by any means. The plot was a good idea, and the way things played out. Without giving spoilers. However, Charlotte was not my favorite. She fell apart rather quickly at several turns, coming across as a teenager rather than a ladder-climbing lawyer of almost 30. I wanted to like Sean. I'm not sure what happened here. It wasn't a waste of time, but it lacked the dynamic and finesse of Ms. Rayner's usual work. As I said, the plot was a good one, and the semi-intrigue that played into it was good too.

10 star rating if i could! Such a sweet down to earth romance!
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review if I could give this book more than 5 stars I would in a new York minute. Charlotte and Shawn are by far the most down to earth humblest couples I have had the pleasure to read about in ages. The fact that Shawn is not the usual flashy stuck up billionaire that is usually in these books was such a welcome change and Charlotte was such an independent successful woman in her own right even willing to raise the babies on her own without a harsh vindictive attitude toward Shawn was by far refreshing. Yes it has hot parts but it was kept classy and for so will into the story actually enhancing the story instead of over powering it. This is by far a book I can't wait to recommend to every one!
