ACDelco GM Original Equipment PT2188 Multi-Purpose Wire Connector , Black

Part fits both the smaller AUX fan and the larger Main fan ( My old one burnt out one melted the fan connector to I got to replace the ran assembly at the same time ). The heat shrink crimps need some serious heat to shrink, though I guess that makes sense given its going to be in an engine compartment. Works great what more can I say?

I purchased this with my radiator fan assembly. Worked like a charm. I was lucky and wired it up right the first time. You may have to swap the wires if the fan turns in the wrong direction.... be aware and monitor its direction after install.

We had an overheating issue with our 06 Pontiac Torrent. My husband checked the thermostat, water pump, fuses, relays etc., and finally found that the problem was caused by the fan connector switches. Neither fan was working properly. One of the connectors was making a loose connection, while the other was bad. Like others have described, the one that was bad was burnt/melted. After replacing the non-functional part, the AC is now working like it's supposed to and we are no longer having the overheating issue. So thankful Amazon carried this part and at HALF THE PRICE of the local parts store!!

My wife comes home from work and complains her 06 pontiac torrent was over heating.I checked every thing from fuses to relays and all checked out good. I checked the fans next and found the pins inside the plugs were burnt.I checked out all local auto parts stores and online auto parts dealers looking for a pigtail to splice with no luck. I finally checked Amazon and behold they had them in stock. They were a bit pricey, but the other option was to go to a junk yard and pray they had a good one or buy a complete wiring harness.

2007 Chevrolet Equinox LTEquinox evidently have this issue OFTEN recommend replacing both fan connectors if one is bad.Vehicle over heated while sitting...cuz fans were not working.Poor quality from factory but cheaper fix than head gaskets if u don't fix it promptly.Was exact same part as sold in a parts store locally for HALF the price. All stores had to send off for it... so no longer of a wait than local shopping.

Lots of mixed reviews. But I have no complaints so far. Seems to be good quality and came with all you’ll need to install (except the crimping tool- of course-)Will update if anything changes.
