ESTJ: Understanding & Relating with the Guardian: MBTI Personality Types

I’ve recently learned that I am an ESTJ and it’s been so interesting and fascinating to understand why I do what I do and how I can work on my weaknesses. A must read for those discovering how to live well.

My husband and I took a personality test during our pre-marriage counseling a few years back. It correctly identified both of our personalities and helped us understand why we act and react differently, especially during a conflict. The author of this book thoroughly explains Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) testing, its origin and why its so important to our everyday lives. He then clearly describes ESTJ (Extroverted Sensing Thinking Judging), which is one of sixteen personality types, in an easy to read and very engaging style.The book answers questions like "Who is an ESTJ?, "Why are they natural leaders?" and "What makes an ESTJ happy?". It explores their greatest strengths, areas of improvements, common workplace behaviors, parenting styles and values, and gives examples of ten influential ESTJ's to learn from.I found this book very interesting and enlightening, and highly recommend it to anyone who is an ESTJ or wants to know more about this common personality type.

The book was a bit shorter than expected, but I did not really check upfront how long it was. The book was as expected. It, as every article I've read on ESTJ, fits very well with my own perception of my self.I do recommend it for ESTJs, though you won't find much new information here compared to what you can find online, it is in an ordered fashion and can use it for easy lookup and show it to your SO etc.

I have listened to several audio books on multiple MBTI personality types, written by Clayton Geoffreys, and have found them all equally interesting and most accurate to the personality test results of myself, family, and friends. 5 stars on being so detailed of the ESTJ personality!

Geoffrey really hit the target on this one. I knew ive been an ESTJ for a long time but after a few years now ive questioned myself here and there and I wanted to do more research on my personality type. So I found this on Amazon and thought that this would be a great book for me to read and to find out more about myself and seek a deeper meaning. This book truly explains the ESTJ in great detail providing amazing facts about myself and showing some problem areas of an ESTJ as well as how to improve. In conclusion, this book (including his others) goes into great detail of revealling what is it like to be an ESTJ and shows problem area which includes ways to improve on those areas. It really reveals everything about yourself and acually shows you who you are and how you act which is why I gave it 5 stars.

These days, everyone is connected and able to communicate a lot more freely than was previously possible. Where this brings a lot more diversity in conversations it can also become hard to understand why you or others are reacting the way you do to social interactions. This book does a great job not only helping people whose personalities align with being an ESTJ but also those who want to understand their friend or family that's personality is that way.This book really does a great job of laying out the facts and making things relatable. It's important for people to understand themselves as well as other for deeper interactions and sometimes its hard to get past the surface. It can lead to insecurities and anger. I think the book does a wonderful job of helping to educate and break down barriers between people and help deeper understandings flourish.

Good book
