Worth the price!
I have been on a mission for several years to find the ultimate non-stick pan. If I can avoid a coated pan of any kind to cook on I will, but in reality a good non-stick is an essential tool in the kitchen. This Fizzler non-stick is amazing, the coating looks and feels like a cast iron pan, it is a good sturdy heavy pan and nothing sticks. I love the deep sides since I do tend to get a little sloppy at times. It has a nice sturdy, easy to grip handle also, only issue with the handle is it not oven rated, but that is a very minimal issue for me. I have plenty of other cookware if I need to go from stove to oven. I like this pan so much I bought one for my son. I am hoping this outlasts any of my other non-stick pans that I've been lucky to get a year out of.

Good heavy pan with quality control issues.
I will still give this pan 5 stars even though I had to return and get a replacement. This is a nice big heavy pan. The thick base and sides heat up extremely evenly. But this also means that it needs more warm-up time (with butter or oil so you know you're not overheating it). Most of my cookware is stainless steel, but I needed one non-stick pan for eggs. I realize non-stick cookware has about a 5-year lifespan, so I probably spent more than I should on it.Regarding the return: There is an ongoing problem, if you look at other reviews, they note a loose handle. My first pan came with this problem. When I tightened the screw, it was still loose. It turns out Fissler uses a screw that is too long, and getting a shorter screw at a hardware store will solve the issue.I had not known about the fix, and I returned the pan immediately. The seller was amazon, the handle was loose, and I obviously got a previous return since the box was taped up unprofessionally. The second pan I got also had a loose handle, but tightening the screw fixed the problem (and the box seemed unadulterated so I am fairly confident that I probably got a new pan this time). Now if this was a pan at a garage sale or something, I can understand buying a screw and fixing it myself. But this is a premium pan with a premium price, I shouldn't have to troubleshoot it and fix it myself.

Best non-stick I have over the year, compared to other high-end non-sticks!
I've used two Le Creuset, one Scanpan, and one Woll Diamond non-stick pans (11-12inch) over these years. All high-end, pricy ones. Non of them is as good as this Fissler pan. I think Fissler Adamant is relatively new on the market, since I've been looking for good non-stick pans for years and just came across this one this January. All of those expansive pans I tried were good for the first half year (I use them almost everyday) but then started to stick or had "dirty spots" that were impossible to clean. I tried to hand-wash as much as possible, only put them in dishwasher a few times.I thought this Fissler Adamant would be the same. So after the initial "wow this pan works great" period (about 3 months) I was waiting for it to stick, or get dirty, just like the other ones. But it did not! Since this COVID pandemic, we all stay at home and cook A LOT! This pan is good as new after 11 months of heavy use. So easy to clean! There were times after I cooked steak with sticky sauce, I looked at the black, burnt stuff in the pan and thought "this is it, the pan is finally scorched!" but it DID NOT! I poured water in and let it stand while we had our meals, and miraculously those burnt stuff got right off with just a paper towel! Some times I would spray it down first with the spray head on the faucet, it works great- gets burnt stuff off easily without making my sponge so greasy that I have to replace it.I highly recommend this pan. I love Fissler's stainless steel pans and am so happy they (finally) made an equally excellent non-stick product available. It cooks great, handles great, cleans great, has nice deep sides so food doesn't spill. The only downside is it did not come with a lid. Not a problem, I use a Le Creuset glass lid and this pair has been my favorite everyday kitchen item since the beginning of the year!

Defective
Received this frying pan and it is not round, but with an obvious dent on the right as you look at the picture. There were no issues with the packaging so an obvious defect in the frying pan. Where was quality control?

Wobbly Handle, Otherwise Great
The 9.5” Fissler Adamant® Comfort Non-Stick Fry Pan is a luxury-priced pan that lives up to Fissler’s promises, with a singular downside -- its wobbly handle. Measurement markers a a nice feature. The base is nice and level for even heat penetration. The inside surface is scratch-resistant and non-stick. I cooked an egg without any butter or oil, and it didn’t stick whatsoever. Oil and grease pour right out after cooking. Food browned up nicely. The pan was easy to clean given that nothing remained attached. Rinsing with water was completely sufficient. The pan is also dishwasher safe. I appreciate that the pan is suitable for all stove-types including induction. While the pan cannot be used in the oven, the handle does not get hot like my all-metal pans. The pan is a bit hefty, but not outside the norm. This pan does not come with a lid, but one can be purchased separately. The handle is attached with a screw that the user is supposed to tighten to eliminate the wobbliness of the handle. The screw was impossible to twist. Even though I removed and reattached the handle with a drill, given that a screwdriver did not do the trick, the handle was no more secure than before. While there is a 5-year warranty, the company does not seem to have a customer service number. E-mails are answered, but when suggestions don’t alleviate the problem, communication drops. I would recommend this to family and friends except for the high price point and the issue with the handle not attaching securely regardless of my best efforts to tighten the screw.
