Almost Perfect, more able to do the job
So i have it for a couple of weeks now, and i think i can say a little bit of this slider. First i really wanted a electronic slider for my wedding shoots and commercials in the future. I did not wanted to spend 1000 bucks on a electric slider. Since i already have gimbal or other ideas how to make it 4D. But here are the Pro's and Con'sPro:1. It works! I tried it diffr angles, and indeed it does have the power to go even vertically. (Now of course keep yourself in the normal weight limit)2. Bag makes it handy to carry around3. Like the way you can swap batteryCon:1. For video (expl interview) its a bit loud. Especially full speed.2. The tripod head that you get with it, it's better you use it on a tripod. Not stable, makes the camera jiggle. When doing angle's its even worst3. The base where the tripod goes, wiggles in the beginning than it kinds of move in a fine tune till the stopping point. I think this is because of the directional rod in the middle of the slider.Overall it did the job for me. But of course if you want something fine tuned than you need to put some more money in your business. Still have to test the hyper-lapse/time-lapse.

Too loud for interviews
It’s built really nice, and very smooth in motion. But my biggest complaint would be how loud the motor is. It’s really a shame because it had some great potential. If you’re shooting interviews, I’d say look else where. But if you’re going to use it broll, then give it a shot.

Easy and Fun to use!!!
The media could not be loaded. I really enjoy using the slider to make shots interesting. I'm very happy with this purchase because the gear is well built and portable. This product will come in handy for interviews; once your points are setup, you can let it run on it's own. Here is some behind the scenes footage of the slider using the Manual Side to Side mode. This is a Great tool for production!!!

failed my expectations
The media could not be loaded. Check my video. There are some pros but I can't get past the reason I bought this was for a smooth sliding video. There are somethings that are lose; the belt and where you mount the camera. This all adds to your footage shaking. When the slider comes to a stop the camera jerks. I couldn't use the footage when the slider started, changed direction or came to a stop. There is no smooth speed ramping. I don't even want to spend the time editing a proper video review. I don't recommend this. $400 is a lot of money! I'm returning mine today and will keep searching for something that works the way they say it does.

Good for timelapse work, not so much for video.
If you are using it for timelapse photography I think it would work well. I've used it for one interview and decided to send it back. I wanted it for tracking a subject and it was too imprecises. There is a certain amount of movement the mechanics have to go thru before it begins tracking and that was too much imprecision for my taste. Also movement, especially at the end points, is quiet shaky. I was able to compensate to a certain degree in FCP by running it thru stabilization but still ended up with unusable footage. Noise-wise at low to mid speed it wasn't terrible. I was using a Sennheiser wireless mic on my subject and never heard any spillover audio from the motor. I really wanted this to work as it promises quiet a bit for the money, however the mechanical tracking just wasn't up for video work.

Misleading advertising
This product is the a 31" slider, though it is advertised as the "newer model" of the 48" carbon fiber slider. Nowhere does it tell you that the 1.5 is only 31".After use, I bumped up to 4 stars. Needed a 48" but this 31" is amazingly good. Typical that instructions lack, but through trial and error, after you figure out the simplicity of the controller (don't over think it like I did) it really does a good job. Fairly loud for interviews at 100 percent speed, but overall good product.

Pretty loud, BT issues, and video auto-loop functions limited
This works sort of.1. The bluetooth was a pain to connect. It showed 13 different codes for potential connections and I had to try each one to get them to connect. Eventually I found the right one but it took 45 minutes to get it to connect.2. The video round-trip auto loop function is very limited. You can't customize how long it stays at each end-point before going back. You can't modify the ramp up/down speed for when it approaches an end-point. This product needs a software update to add these critical controls.3. The motors are loud. You can't have a mic anywhere near the camera, which can make shooting situations challenging, and you'll have to consider which lens makes the most sense. The first time I was sent this product, they sent me a previously opened/returned 1.5D model with missing parts. After I returned it they sent me a poorly packaged 2D. It was nice getting a free upgrade. That said, I am very torn on whether to keep this or not. I'm pretty disappointed by this. If it was only one of these issues I'd probably keep it. The price is great... it's hundreds of dollars cheaper than a Rhino or Elderkrone but honestly I would pay $100 more to not have any of these issues. I'm going to experiment with it for a week and make a decision on whether to return it or keep it.

excellent choice!
Been using the slider for a while and really love it! I'm a new video maker. I use the slider all this time. Before it, I had a edelkrone slider which costs me around $2.6k. Unfortunately, the big-ticket stopped working in 1.5 years. I had to discard it because of the expensive repair. My new gadget doesn't disappoint me. can't believe the noise is even better and it slides super smooth too. Love it!
