Does a good job of boiling water.
I bought this for one reason: I'll be traveling overseas and want my coffee. For some reason I was expecting it to be smaller, enough to heat a cup at a time, but it can use up to 550ml (2.3 cups). With the outlet adapter and the ability to choose voltage I'll be able to get my water hot anywhere there is electricity. I tested it out and it heats up reasonably fast: 2 full cups from room temp to full boiling in just under 3 and a half minutes, automatically shutting down at about 3:40. It travels complete with its chord in its sturdy case (not including the outlet adapter). Traveling weight is 1.65 lb or .75 kg. so keep that in mind if you're thinking of putting it into your carry-on luggage. Only one caution: the lid comes off easily, so when pouring hold it on with a thumb (easily done) or take it off (taking care for the steam, of course). Get your tea bag or your pour through coffee maker or your French press or instant or whatever and drink something.

This kettle does get very hot
it's great for travel a bit heavy but it takes so little space on your luggage. With COVID I did not want to take a risk of using coffee makers in hotel rooms. I find that I always catch nasty flu and cold whenever I use the coffee makers. I figured what happens is guest drink from their water bottles and then pour water out of the same water bottle to make coffee. That's how cross contamination happens the boiling temp in hotel coffee makers doesn't get hot enough to kill germs. This kettle gets very hot though. I scalded myself the first time it used it . I was pouring hot water and the kettle top fell out and hot water splash on me. But I still travel with this kettle to make coffee in the morning. I just use instant coffee or coffee in sachets. Better safe than soryy.

Nice little travelling kettle
The media could not be loaded. Easy to put together and easy to take apart. The converter to 220 is a nice extra. Hope someday to travel abroad to use it. Everything fits nicely in the case. Kettle took 3 min to come to a boil. Holds about 2.5 cups, you can get away with three cups but it will spill out when it starts to boil.As I just got this, I cannot attest to the longevity of the product. But it does seem pretty sturdy and well-made. In 6 months I will update my review.

No Auto Shut Off
NOTE: My 3 star review is based on the no-auto shut off feature ONLY.Very cute, loved it...but I had it a week and the bottom cracked. I don't blame the tea pot, I just need an auto shut off. Especially with such a small pot, a "stay warm" feature is dangerous, hence, I can assume, the crack in the bottom. If you are more mindful of your boiling water this is the pot for you! I love the size, the color, the way it packs down into a tiny CD case. However, unless there is an auto shut off, I cannot own it.That being said, the return was very well received and very friendly. I'd work with this seller again.

Compact and lightweight
I love this clever teapot! I had morning coffee in every hotel I stayed at in Norway and each day I cruised on the Hurtigruten cruise ship. So few hotels and ships provide hot water for coffee and tea. And I just don’t wake up and face the day with enthusiasm without a cup of coffee. The pot is compact and lightweight. It will be accompanying me everywhere I travel from here on. Antarctica?
