Red dot sight
Installed on my AR as a cheap build project. So for its proven to be durable and fits cleanly. nice sight for the money.

Optic flew off my slide!!!
I was really hoping this optic would work. I was a late on installing it on my XD9 so I missed the Amazon return window. I finally had some time to hit the range last night and without any sight adjustments, for the first 20rds, I was hitting the inner circle with every round and was very excited with my purchase. Then after my 3rd mag change, within 5rds, I felt pain on the right side of my forehead and when I looked down at my gun I noticed that the ADE optic and mounted plate were completely gone. I finally found the optic still attached to the mounting plate and they flew about 6’ behind me and landed on my sweatshirt on the utility table. If I can get replacement hardware and allen keys (accidentally threw the keys away) I’d like to try to re-mount this optic to my slide. I know it’s not a $300 Holosun, but it’s still $100 that I don’t want to throw away. I will definitely amend this review if a re-mount works.

Perfect Fit for my Springfield XD Mod 2.
After receiving my ADE red dot its was very easy to install. All the parts I needed was included with the red dot. Nothing was missing and I didn't have to purchase anything additional. The red dot appears nice and xlear. The windage and elevation works perfectly.Thanks ADE.

I've been running this dot on an XD40 mod2 for about 8 months now and can say the pros are good battery life, holds a solid zero, and is durable enough for most shooters' conditions. Cons would be no shake awake, having to unmount to replace the battery, and having to use the mounting plate (it just ads another element to the mount which adds room for loosening hardware or general mounting issues).

This sight really works great if installed per instructions
I have a springfield armory XD45. I used loctite red and blue to install according to the instructons. It took less than 8 shots to xero and ive put 80 rounds so fa with no problems.Mark

Make sure it fits, only to find out it still don’t fit!!
Clearly states it’s for my pistol, I double and triple checked….. don’t fit at all, not even close.
