Cherry Almond, Well...almost
I love the Pure & Basic line of Cherry Almond products. I use the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. With this particular batch of the Cherry Almond body wash, the Pure & Basic folks have changed the formula to make it a clear cherry color, rather than the creamy color it was. In so changing the formula, it's more Cherry (like cherry candy) and less almond. It's still pleasant smelling, but not as nice as the original formula. Alas, it seems companies are more interested in "improving" their products, when the product was just fine in the first place.

No almond scent.
The product itself smells like cherry cough syrup and when used it smells LIGHTLY of cherry blossoms. I did not detect almond in the product scent. I was looking for something to pair with my classic Tresseme shampoo/conditioner and this was not it. It's not a bad scent, just not want I want nor am looking for.

Unfortunately, they no longer make the body wash in Cherry Almond. You can get the hand soap. I miss them! They were the best!

Product smell change
Sad to hear that Pure and Basic has changed the smell as this product really worked for me! I'm sensitive to many smells and I'm concerned this product change will now cause me to have problems.
