BraceAbility Clavicle Support Brace - Figure 8 Upper Back Brace Posture Corrector for Women and Men, Shoulder Straightener, Kyphosis Relief, Sling for Injuries and Fractures (Medium)

Doctor recommended a support brace when my 12-yr old fractured his clavicle. At his one month follow up, we were told he had healed up very nicely. It was very important to be positioned properly most especially during the first couple of weeks of healing. This brace allowed adjustments throughout the weeks and pull back tighter as he became better able to move his shoulder. Easy to clean-- just threw it into the washer and dryer. Even after it has served it's purpose, I have kept it on hand just in case anyone wants to use it to improve their posture. It truly is a one-size fit-- my 12 yr old has used it and my husband can fit it as well. There are no magic components or fancy colors or accessories with this support brace, but sometimes simplicity works best.

I'm very happy with the brace. It's not always super comfortable, but is doing its job, and I'm healing.

My only complaint is that the Wide Padding pinches my under-arm area. I will probably do some modifying to custom fit that area. The brace is very well made, and does the job. I can actually slip it on & off, over my head, without having to release the Velcro attachment. My wife & I both wear these to keep us from slumping forward so much when we spend long hour on the computer, washing dishes, etc.

Certainly not what I expected. Very difficult to adjust, even with help. And I did note that I would need someone to assist me with putting it on. The straps are way too wide. They are bulky and uncomfortable. The brace is undersized. I fit well within the parameters for a medium. (And I did take the time to do the measurement.) The medium is way too small. Not worth the investment in funds or time.

Fits well. My shoulders pull forward, only used a couple of times. Hard to put on alone and stay pulled back.

My son broke his collar bone last week at football practice and urgent care gave him a sling. which left him immobilized from using his writing hand. after researching i came across this brace and ordered it. needless to say my son loves it and prefers this brace over that sling any day. it has reduced his pain significantly and he feels free wearing it as he is not limited in using his dominant hand. It still keeps his shoulders stable for healing yet gives him the ability to participate in school and play his video games here at the house. now i will have to order another one as he prefers to sleep in it as well. he has even asked if they had a waterproof one so that he wont need to take it off when he is showering. lol.

It works fine, but the bottom straps are uncomfortable under the arms. Bulky and a little high up for me.

I give this brace 5 stars as it is very well made. I have returned it only because i ordered a medium, which was too small for me. I did not order a new one because one was ordered by my physician and paid for by my insurance carrier. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a clavical injury.

Very bad design. The straps are behind your back. Difficult to wear and impossible to adjust the tension once on. I have had much better and practical designs in the past. If you are considering this, don't!
