LIBRA Set 4 6000lbs 24" Camper RV Trailer Stabilizer Leveling Scissor Jacks

I bought these jacks to stabilize my enclosed trailer allowing me to drive snowmobiles and four wheelers in/out of it when not hooked to a truck. They worked perfectly. Very sturdy construction, easy to install and didn’t break the bank. Very satisfied with this product.

I have been using these stabilizers on my ice shanty in northern Wisconsin, and they have made a noticeable difference in stability. Out on uneven, frozen ice, it is important to have something solid, and these hold up really well. Once installed, the shanty feels much more secure even when the wind picks up or when people are moving around inside. They are strong, easy to adjust, and the hardware included made installation straightforward, and everything feels durable enough to handle repeated use in harsh weather. I also appreciate how well they perform in freezing temperatures. They have not shown any issues with stiffness or jamming so far. Once they are locked in, the setup feels steady and reliable. Overall, these are a great upgrade if you want a more stable and secure ice shanty setup, especially in tough northern conditions.

Love the jacks. But attaching them was frustrating for two reasons: 1) the odd-size, under-capable drill bit 2) soft mounting screws which are mostly unusable The holes you have to drill are of a size requiring a bit that does not come in standard drill bit sets. Not a problem because the set came with a drill bit, right? Wrong. The included bit could not make headway into the trailer frame. So I had to go to the hardware store to buy a better bit. The new bit I bought drilled just fine. But then when I went to attach with the included screws, they didn’t screw in well and became mangled almost immediately. After wasting a bunch of time trying to get them to work, I instead used a combination of self tapping screws (for new holes) and larger bolts with nuts to utilize the larger holes I previously drilled. So if you guys these, make sure you have other fasteners available for installation.

This is the second time I purchased this product. The first time was a pair and they installed very easily in the middle of my RV to help with the stability. The other ones on the ends of the RV were the original and one of them was bent. They came with the RV and were not very sturdy. These are awesom. Very sturdy and a good value for the money. Easy to install in place of the old stabilizers. Even though the Libra stabilizers came with several pre-drilled holes, they did not match my old ones. Not surprising based on how the old ones were installed, very poorly. Instructions are provided and a drill bit and new lag bolts were provided. I recommend them with no reservations.

DURABLE!! Light weight and heavy duty. Super easy installation on my jayco Jay flight camp trailer. In fact these are 1,000 times better than the stabilizers that came on the trailer brand new. These will definitely last a long time.

The old stabilizer jacks that came with my camper were very rusty and didn’t stabilize the camper very well. I replaced them with these stabilizer jacks and there’s quite a difference! We haven’t used the camper yet this year, but when I deployed these at home, the camper was rock solid.

I have just received them and haven't installed them on my RV. Comments and the listing itself are a bit ambigous about whether they are "leveling" jack, or just for stabilizing. My RV has no leveling jacks and I bought these to use for that purpose. Well the instructions that come with it make it clear that they ARE leveling jacks as well as stabilizing jacks. The quality seems to be there, I am quite impressed at the quality for the price. They look good, moved smoothly in my garage and look like I'll be able to permanently mount them when I can. In the interim you could use a block (Or possibly nothing) on the top and another on he bottom if the soil is wet or not solid and as long as your RV doesn't move I don't think you'll have any problem. The instructions are refreshingly clear. There are a lot of cautions but liability is the reason, you've been warned. No you should not use as a tire jack. Otherwise they will be great. I was especially pleased that they included a socket to allow you to use your drill to expand or collapse the jack. It only save a few bucks but it's thoughtful. And a socket for the screws and a template to drill holes for the screws when you do mount it.
