Okay let's be honest about this project
Now that I am done with the project, I love it and it looks great. I hated my ceramic tiled fireplace because everything in the living had to be brown to match it and I'm a gray person. Everyone kept telling me that there was nothing I could put over these tiles that would stick to the existing tile. Thanks to everyone else's reviews, it seemed like this would work.1. These tiles are very sticky and easily stuck to the existing ceramic tile and grout. I was able to unstick and adjust slightly a few times before leaving them in place.2. These are very easy to cut with just sharp scissors, cut them from the back and use the dots to make a straight cut. I first was using a box cutter but that was actually harder.3. Getting this pattern to match up was a challenge. Someone else mentioned that the way the tiles lined up they ended up having to cut some small triangles to replace some missing areas, which I did have to do also. Due to the pattern and the blend or white and gray, you would never be able to tell that I did that and makes the areas very seamless when matching them up next to each other.4. These vinyl panels are sticky/rubbery to the touch. I will have to experiment with different types of cleaning solutions but they are shiny and this pattern does look like real tile.5. This was time consuming. It took me two days to complete. Maybe 8 hrs total. I messed up about 3 pieces due to my lack of spacial awareness and just getting used to lining up the tiles and the pattern so I could have done this with 3 packs of 5 but ended up needing 4 total. This project including the caulk cost me around $125.6. Speaking of caulk I used white silicone caulk and it matched perfectly. I have never used caulk before and this stuff is messy. It dries quickly in about 30 minutes. It took me just as much time to do the caulk as it did to cut the tiles and place them. Based on the other reviews, I was under the impression that the caulk would be easy to apply and would magically just make it all come together. It did all come together in the end but be prepared to take your time with this part.7. It may have taken just as much time to do actual tiles and grout as far as what I spent on the materials. I don't have the tools to cut real tiles and the thought of using grout seemed like more of a project to take on than I really had time for. So my choice was to find a cheaper solution or hire someone to redo the fireplace and hiring someone would have easily cost me several hundred dollars. This is a temporary solution and eventually the fireplace will get redone with real tile. In the meantime, I don't hate my living room.

Hard to Cut and Border Edge Would Help
I've never used a peel and stick backsplash and really never looked into them before. I got this for my hall bath because when I replace the vanity, the new one was smaller and thought it would be good to protect the small area of wall that was now exposed. Installation has been pretty good considering I am new at this and there is a trial and error period. I had small holes and dents in the wall where it was damaged from removing the old vanity. This product covered those areas well. The biggest problem I had was measuring and cutting. Many other reviews indicated they used scissors. I used a box cutter with a brand new blade. I also had a quilters cutting mat. From the way others spoke, I figured this would be a breeze, however, it took several strokes to cut through. Also, I found it easier to cut from the back, but you had to mark from the front then transfer to the back. The front has a plastic clear film so you aren't actually marking on the tile. The front and back films are very slick so even a sharpie marker wouldn't mark it very well. It would also be helpful if there were gridlines on the back. There are little holes, but they aren't lined up very well. Plus, because of all the slick surfaces, you need to be very careful about the ruler or tile not moving on you while cutting. I had to go around an inside corner and in a couple areas my measurements were off by just an 1/8 or an inch or so, once on the wall, there is no way to trim it. It would take too much pressure. I'm just going to caulk down the corner and it will hopefully look pretty good. It would be nice if they had a border you could also buy to finish the straight edges. Again, cutting a straight line is difficult and it looks cut where a finished border edge would have a finished edge look. I'm going to buy wood trim to cover the edge and make it looked finished. I've not complete finished my product so I hope in the end it won't look like I took the cheap route to finish my wall.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE
I got this product thinking it will make my life easier by not having to go through the whole process of installing tiles on my bathroom backsplash. Well, I was so freaking wrong. This useless piece of sticker is right where it belongs, the trash. I have remodeled many spaces and this is probably the worse decision I have made. I installed it in my bathroom and it looked beautiful for probably a week (Picture). Soon, the corners of the sticker started to lift up, so I glue them back again. Lasted 2 to 3 days, sticker started to come off again. Gave it another chance so used glue to reinforce the adhesive. Nothing. After looking at my bathroom backsplash peel off, I decided to get regular tile and ripped the whole thing off. Spent about $300 in this useless product...should it been better to go on the street and just through the money at people instead of spending it in this crap! sadly the product DOES NOT do what is "advertised" pure lies.

Perfect for a simple project.
You can see from the photos the before and after of my fireplace. Easy way to update the nearly 20 year old builders tile. This product was one of the only I could find that’s rated for heat and the couple times I’ve turned on my fireplace I’ve had no issue. It wasn’t difficult to start cutting the pieces and putting them together like a puzzle. There is a lot of waste, esp when having to cut smaller pieces for specific areas...I had to buy more tiles because of the way they fit together. Because it’s peel and stick with minimal work and cost, it was the easiest way for me to update without spending a fortune. My tiles weren’t fully square so just using white caulk to fill in a couple minimal gaps and for the edges.

Passed the heat test!
Love!Took me about 3 hrs to complete. The pattern required cutting/fitting so that was time consuming. But love the results! These are vinyl so we were concerned about the heat from the fire. They passed the test beautifully! Will purchase again:)

Looks better than I thought
These are thinner than I thought but they do look great. Easy to install just plan your path.

Good quality
The product looks very good quality. Unfortunately it didn’t match our countertop as well as we hoped, so we didn’t use it. But that doesn’t take away from the great product. Recommend it

Realistic tile look and patterns
I love herring bone pattern. When I saw this online I thought it was the perfect colour and pattern but when I actually recieved it the aspect ratio was off! The ends of the 'tile' were on an angle rather than squared corners as they should be. Herring bone pattern should be made with small rectangles not with angled ends!

Way harder to work with than expected
The product gets 2 stars for being beautiful and of good quality, however it is very difficult to work with. Because it is thicker it is difficult to cut, and the herringbone pattern is hard to line up seamlessly. I had to scrap the job and pick a different, simpler design.

Poor Adhesion
Initially they looked great, but as time went on the edges began lifting. Now it looks terrible. As the picture shows, adhesion is a problem, and it is impossible to get rectify short of complete demo and rebuild.

It’s not the best
It pricy comparing with the quality, it’s so hard to get it together as it hasn’t flat ends
