Excellent for low carb dieting
I should preface this review by saying I don't suffer from any digestive health issues, nor am I using this for any medical reason: I am on a low carb diet, and though I do eat plenty of greens I've noticed that as a result of cutting out a lot of higher carb foods, I've needed more fibre in my diet - so wanted to try this. Therefore I can't comment on it as a medical health enhancement, just a lifestyle/ dietary one :)The powder itself looks like slightly heavier icing sugar. It's easy to scoop but it's very fine so it's also easy to spill. Added to cold water it takes vigorous stirring or whisking to dissolve, as it clumps very quickly and can be quite difficult to knock down. It's better in warm water, but excellent mixed into yogurt or sauces where it distributes rather than clumps. It doesn't taste of much at all, just very slightly sweet, and doesn't change the consistency of food or liquid in any notable way - so it's easy to add to your diet without noticing it.I did notice some slight bloating the first few days but nothing uncomfortable, and similarly a slight increase in flatulence, but again nothing excessive. The main thing I found was that the same day I started using it, I became more regular, and pretty much back to normal.Despite the potential for mess and occasionally annoyingly poor dissolution in drinks, I'm really impressed with it and would recommend it if you're looking to add more fibre to your diet

It's 100% inulin, no added glucose/fructose
It's 100% inulin, no added glucose/fructose.Itsna fine white powder that clumps in the air.I bought this due to having my first high cholesterol warning from a blood test. I started to research how to control your cholesterol levels and inulin popped up. After reading more and more I decided It was a no brainer to start taking this apparent "wonder supplement".This powder disolves well in water, you do need to stir fairly vigorously to get the last bits of powder that turn a bit gloopy. The result is a tasteless, slightly sweet water that is pleasent to drink.I am taking the recommended 3 teaspoons a day/15g. Spread out with my meals. Results are supposed to take 6 mths but I can say that I already feel fuller, less desire to eat and I have noticed an increase in windy pops.I'm now looking at taking digestive enzymes which should help with the wind and improve my digestive system further along with a good probiotic. So far so good.Since taking inulin I have noticed

Good value
Difficult to really know with something like this how good it is. Inulin is a prebiotic which is supposed to support a healthy digestive system. I take in the assumption that it does me good but it is hard to tell how much of a difference it makes. On the plus side, it was good value for a large 1kg bag.

Trustworthy supplier of a product that works!
I had to change my pain medication this year, which led to my losing my appetite. This went on for several weeks and meantI had to find a healthy, natural alternative to my usual healthy source of fibre, especially as I still need to take Codeine; well known for its tendency to cause constipation. Then I found Inulin!Initially, I ordered it as a Pre-biotic to take alongside the Probiotics I started to take to improve my digestive health after coming off the strongest meds. The fact that this fantastic product fulfills both purposes, tastes fantastic, is low in calories and so easy to take....... Oh, and is far gentler on my system than Senna-based products!..... makes this a staple on top of my cupboard!!At time of writing, this Seller's Inulin was best value. I will stick with them now, as - after 2 orders from them - I am also impressed by their Customer support and the consistent quality of their product!

good value
I use inulin mostly in coffee, sometimes in baking. Make sure it's mixed properly as it can form lumps, but they should dissolve with stirring. It's meant to be good for our guts and I suggest you start with a modest amount like 1 teaspoon and increase slowly to see how your digestion adjusts. I prefer to buy chicory origin inulin which this seems to be.

Inulin is a natural product which is a prebiotic and could aid sleep and help with weight issues too
I’m using this as a prebiotic after watching a programme which showed this might help with sleep.
