Forward bushings fit great and made car feels very, very sharp. Rearward front arm bushings were such a PITA laying in the snow, I gave up tbh.How-To:To get the fronts in, I took arms off.-Wheel off-Lower ball joint off. ( Loosen nut, bang side of arm around ball joint hard with big hammer. Don't hit the nut/bolt from bottom much. Hit the arm. Rattles it loose. Done it 20+ occasions. lift up and out)-remove lower strut bolt-sway bar end bolt (don't lose order of rubber pads and washers)-remove inner arm to frame bolt- remove rear bushing nut, ((rear part of arm through big bushing)). Don't lose big washers.-Pull arm out forward, lotta wiggling and taps on arm, not bolt, probably a better way if not in hurry., Could undo front arm from rear arm with the 2-3 bolts that connect them.-knocked old rubber bushing out with a little cutting from a knife.-Used sawzall/hacksaw inside the bushing race to cut it.-tapped out of the arm easily with no press.- could be pressed or pulled out if you have one or the other. Cutting works fast.- cleaned bushing hole-installed new bushing pad and pin with directions:*Lube halves a little, push them in, lube inside of bushing, push/tap in the grade-8 metal bushing into the center of urethane*-tossed it all back together after giving up on reward bushing in the dark (they need unbolted and some hard but simple work to get out of the holder.-Reassemble is reverse steps.- if you're known for snapping bolts or not artfully skilled in the art of "that's tight enough", one can look up tourqe specifications with a Google search for all the bolts involved.Need:12mm/14mm/16*/17mm/18*/19mm sockets and wrenches I believe. *MaybeDecent hammerJack and jack standChilton or Haynes manual if you're scared.Around here they want $100-$250usd to do this task.A handy person can do it with these parts in an afternoon or less.As always, check for other worn parts before working so you can do them at the same time, and be safe.-Love,B-rad; industrial carpenter, lumberjack, cowboy, farm mechanic, book worm, and semi-pro blues guitarist.

Did not fit a 93 Civic EX, slightly too big
This kit includes 2 bushings per arm: the forward inner, and the rearward/compliance bushing. It does not include the shock bushing.The forward inner bushing is maybe 1mm too big in both diameter and height. After pressing in the two halves of the bushings, the bushings were bulging out sideways from the control arm; this should have been a warning sign, but I went ahead and pressed in the metal sleeve. When this happened, the sleeve caught on the middle (i.e. INSIDE the bushing, where the two halves meet) since the bushing is bulging inside as well; the sleeve ended up chewing up the bushing and tearing bits off from the inside by the time it came out the other end. On the second attempt, I reread the instructions which said not to use grease on the outer diameter of the bushing. When I tried pressing the halves in again, it began shearing pieces off the OD of the bushing, since it's too big and this time there's no grease to help smooth it in. Because the flange on the bushing is too thick, it made it impossible to reinstall anyway - the control arm becomes about 1mm too wide on each side.The compliance bushing went on without issue. However, 1 month later I am starting to hear squeaks and groans. Yes I used plenty of lube, and also tried to teflon tape trick. Overall this was definitely not worth the frustration. VERY POOR quality control on Prothane's part. I will go back to rubber bushings, at least they fit and don't make noise!

Prothane Bushing Upgrade
Ordered these to replace my blown out front lower control arm bushings. Had a shop press them into the control arms and I reinstalled on the car... The ride feels a lot better now and my steering is much more precise while cornering. I read that these bushing like to squeak over bumps but I have not experienced that yet.

not good..
Bushing kit is ok except it does not include the strut fork bushings, which are the first ones to go on these control arms. Also, metal inserts are not quite long enough, causing friction between moving parts and the bushings themselves, not good... so far ok but will probably squeak in the future.
