True 100% Arabica Comfort — The Reliable OG Bean
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ True 100% Arabica Comfort — The Reliable OG Bean Tim Hortons Original Whole Bean Review — Smooth, Balanced, and Ritual-Ready The Tim Hortons Whole Bean Original delivers a genuinely smooth, balanced medium roast that works for everyday brews and slow-sip rituals alike. The beans are uniform, fresh-aromatic, and grinder-friendly, producing a cup that feels warm, mellow, and reliably satisfying. The medium roast profile brings gentle nut and light cocoa warmth, with a clean brightness that avoids sourness, bitterness, or dramatic roast monologues. It’s the kind of coffee that says “original” and actually tastes like original coffee beans, not an identity crisis. I’ve brewed this as: black coffee confidence cups creamy café mornings casual weekend pour-overs and post-meal sips In every case, it delivered clean extraction, solid aroma, and a smooth finish with no weird aftertaste leftovers hijacking the vibe. ☕ Best for: Daily home brewing with real coffee flavor Grinding fresh without clogs or uneven bits Enjoying black or with milk and light sweetener Coffee lovers who want ritual + dependability 👍 Pros: ✔ 100% arabica beans (true, clean flavor base) ✔ Smooth medium roast, easy to adjust with add-ins ✔ Great aroma when grinding and brewing ✔ Consistent beans, good structure ✔ Works across most coffee makers after grinding ✔ Feels premium without costing flagship guilt ✔ Doesn’t spike bitterness or sourness ⚠ Cons / tips: • It’s medium roast balance over espresso punch — not for volcanic-bold coffee seekers. • Transfer to an airtight container after opening to keep aroma maxed. • If you like richer cups, a dash of milk or honey complements it beautifully (standard coffee logic). Bottom line: If you want a smooth, aromatic, 100% Arabica whole bean coffee for everyday reliability, this one more than delivers. It brews calm, balanced, and consistently drinkable. No jitters, no drama — just a great cup every time. I’ll absolutely reorder! 😎☕🫘👏✅

A very nice medium roast, medium low acid coffee
I've seen a few other reviews that referred to this Tim Horton's coffee as a "good old fashioned coffee." I think that's a pretty good way of putting it and here's what I mean by that. In days gone by you could purchase any of several big name brand coffees at your local grocer and be greeted with a great roasted coffee aroma upon opening and a very agreeable medium body medium acid coffee in the cup after brewing. Those days are gone for a decade or two now, but if you know what I'm talking about from those days and want to experience them again, this coffee from Tim Horton's is the way to do it. This was my first order of this coffee. I turned to it because I needed something not very expensive to tide me over until my next regular five pound subscribe and save order ships a few weeks from now. I purchased this based on the reviews but honestly wasn't expecting this coffee to be anything more than passable. Well, it is more than passable. It is in fact quite good. Upon opening the bag I found beans of good quality, in good condition and of uniform size and roast. The roast level is what I'd call a City+ to Full City roast, meaning that the coffee has an evenly roasted appearance that is a medium brown, not at all a dark roast, and that a lot of the fruity character of the original varietal remains. (At Full City+ and higher levels, coffees are darker, sugars are beginning to really caramelize to the point that there is some degree of bitterness and oils begin to develop on the bean surface. None of that is the case here.) I ground a portion of beans right after opening and pulled an espresso for sampling. (For those that don't know, espresso doesn't refer to a dark roasted coffee but instead is a method of extraction where a measured amount of water at a controlled temperature is passed through finely ground coffee under pressure. Any coffee can be used to prepare an espresso.) The initial shot I pulled was spot on with good crema. On tasting there was a great "old fashioned" coffee flavor with nice body and medium low acidity. Just delicious really. I've also sampled this coffee with a drip grind in a pour-over drip coffee maker. Again, just a really nice cuppa. If you've had the (all too rare) experience of a really nice fresh cup in a restaurant at breakfast or after dinner, this coffee will remind you of that experience. All in all color me impressed when I didn't expect to be impressed. Great value for a really good coffee. Wish I could make it four and half stars but since I can't, take me word that it's a four plus star coffee at the price. I don't hesitate to recommended it for anyone looking for that "good old fashioned" coffee roast, aroma and flavor. Very nice. On edit (January 7th, 2013): The first time I ordered this coffee was because I needed something to tide me over while waiting for my next regular five pound subscribe and save order to ship. The highest praise I can give a product is to order it again. I've just ordered this Tim Hortons coffee again. And this time I ordered it not because I needed to take a chance on something to tide me over. I ordered it because having tried it, I wanted more.

Great coffee!
While visiting Niagara Falls in Canada last year, I became hooked on Tim Horton's coffee. I can't find it in any stores in my area, so I was thrilled to be able to order it from Amazon. Always fresh and tastes great!

Delicious
Fantastic whole bean coffee. It's a nice medium roast with lots of flavor. Just be sure to order early as it took a few weeks to arrive. There is no date of packaging on the bag, but the use by date was eleven months away, which is better than I've seen on other store brands.

Tim Horton needs to do a better job of packaging product for shipping
The coffee is great. Unfortunately, Tim Horton's needs to send the coffee in a box with bubble wrap so the bags don't break open during shipping. I received two 2lb bags of who,e bean coffee that were shipped in a paper mailing envelope. Something heavy must have been placed on top of the envelope during shipping and when I opened the package the bags were burst open and beans were everywhere.
