I'm a crafter. We buy things. Lots. Paper, ink, dies, stamps, you name it. Really Useful boxes are head and shoulders the best storage I've found for all my resources. They are made to a very high standard so they look good, are very robust and store everything securely. I find it very useful (ho ho) that they do some boxes with an optional extra large version, which adds about an inch to the height. It means my boxes have the same width and will all fit on the same shelf, so long as I allow for the extra inch. I also love the clip-up handles which securely hold the lid in place. In the past I have bought boxes which need a great deal of persuasion to pull the lid off. These have a very 'positive' action but don't require a lot of effort. They stack, they store, they're fabulous!

I bought the larger boxes for albums some time ago and just like them, these small boxes are solid and are a perfect fit for my many 7" singles. The lids clip on perfectly giving me confidence if and when I would need to transport them around.The blurb states that each box holds 100 7" singles. However, I have been able to fit in 115 or more of my singles in each box so I ended up buying more boxes than I needed. This was not a problem as there are so many other items that can be housed in these sturdy and reliable containers.

9L XL is the most practical, multi-purpose plastic box to have around the house that I have come across.I strongly prefer the XL design to normal: XL lid has a lot of room on top so it is possible to "overfill" the box and yet the lid closes comfortably.Size of the box is just perfect: holds a lot of stuff yet it is small enough that it is not difficult to find a home for it.

I don't often post reviews but occasionally a product comes along that just ticks every box. I spent hours looking for something to hold my 350+ 7" record collection. As I am moving house next Spring I also wanted something to transport them in without packing them into cardboard boxes. These boxes from the Really Useful Box company are perfect. All my singles have polypropylene covers and some have thick black replacement cardboard sleeves making them wider but these 9XL boxes are wide enough to house them (see pics). The deep lid is great which means it fits over the records protecting them from dust etc. With protective covers a box will comfortable hold 100 singles and often more. For the money you won't find a better quality product anywhere for storing those valuable records (they also do LP boxes). I've just ordered a fourth one and they arrive next day too!

I bought this box because it looks strong and has handy carry handles and I mistakenly thought that it would hold the children's soldier collection. But the bottom of the box is three quarters tall and the upper section is an additional quarter so small things if heaped above the bottom box fall out. Therefor instead of getting them all in one place I've had to resort to two containers. My fault entirely.Its a strong sturdy smart looking box and the grandsons love carrying it around by the handles. So far it has encouraged them to tidy their soldiers away which is a bonus. Long may it last!

These boxes are very sturdy and well made. I initially bought one for our first-aid/non-prescription medicine items, and I was so impressed I bought two more - one for dog/cat treats, the other for pet sundry items (brushes etc.). The only thing is the dog and cat now creep up on me like Weeping Angels when I'm getting a paracetamol, so I'm probably paying out more for treats than before I owned these boxes.For the price, these really are excellent.I plan on replacing my tool drawers with Really Useful ones too.

Looking for the perfect and affordable storage for your 7" singles? I was, found this, bought 2, happy man and happy vinyl. Lid fits with records stored snug inside. Great great product.
