PackIt Freezable Deluxe Large Lunch Bag with Shoulder Strap, Black

This is a great lunch bag for those who want/need to keep their meals close by and have to eat on-the-go. Just store it in the freezer and it keeps your food cold for hours. I put a protein shake in it at 11am and left it in my car in 95° So Cal weather until 3pm. My shake (and the inside of the bag) was still cold like out of the fridge for my commute. I think 4 hours is probably the cap for the car, and I'm confident it would last an entire workday inside an air-conditioned office. It will accommodate two lunch-sized containers two 10-12 ounce drinks - perfect if you need to carry multiple meals, but not so huge it looks like you're feeding an army or becomes difficult to tote. It has an adjustable shoulder strap long enough to be worn like a purse and can also be shortened to carry over the lower arm or as handles. Inside is one compartment, easy to wipe clean. It has a full zip top beneath the flap and outside is one large back pocket. I also like that it lives in the freezer, by design, so I don't have to figure out where to store yet another lunch bag (though I can dump a few with this purchase). I appreciate that it comes in basic black instead of all those ugly floral patterns they make for women's lunch carriers. I may even give the striped version as a gift.

I ordered one of these originally for my wife to use to store her breast milk in while at work and traveling to daycare. We love the fact that you can throw them in the freezer the night before and in the morning they will be good and frozen. I loved it so much that I bought one for my work lunches. Now, I wouldn't say that this thing will keep your food super cold sitting out all day long, but it will keep it cold for a good long while. I highly recommend these lunch boxes and have actually purchased several more from this same company.

I use this for snacks and cans of pop while driving. With a cooler insert (solid blue plastic, molded for 6-pack of cans) I can keep up to 6 cans of pop cold for at least the day. Fewer cans leaves room for snacks.I had an earlier version (tiny bit smaller) with only velcro tab closure. This has zipper and I like that better.The only complaint I have is the odor these can give off (noticed because inside of car.) It can smell like freezer burn on foods, if that makes sense. I don't know if that is from my freezer or the bag, but I haven't noticed freezer burn on my foods.This freezes solid so make sure you lay it flat and straight in freezer.

I bought this lunch pack to replace a "hard" cooler that had a cold pack that screwed into the lid of the cooler. I never liked the cooler because it did not smell very good and you had to unscrew the cooling gel pack (that was in hard plastic) and freeze it. It ultimately fell out of the freezer and broke. My husband has been very happy with this unit. It is definately smaller and easier to carry. Since you do not have to put the gel packs into it there is more storage for your food items. It folds nicely for freezing over night. Now, the big trick is to get my husband to reconize that it will be a hot busy day and take the little cooler with him and his lunch would be nice and cold over the plastic grocery sack he has been carrying his lunch in since the old cooler has busted. haha. But I think we have found a little gem. I'd make sure I'd get the large of the lunch bags as you will find them easy for about anything.

I prefer not to keep my lunch in the community refrigerator at work as it is more convenient to keep everything at my desk within arms reach. This is a great lunch tote as the entire bag freezes thereby freeing up more room for contents without any additional ice packs, and it keeps the contents cold all day at work, like having my own mini-fridge. I work a typical 8-5 workday in a professional office and leave the house around 7:30 am and things generally stay cool until at least 3 pm from my experience so far. Definitely an improvement over standard insulated lunch boxes. This is a nice size for all day use breakfast, lunch, snack. Highly recommend.

Very handy, simple and well designed. Plenty of room to pack a substantial meal along with side dishes, fruit, drink, etc. Accommodates an 8 1/2" x 6 1/4" food container perfectly at the bottom with room above to stack other items. Toss it back in the freezer overnight for 12 hrs and it's good to go next morning. I keep it in a back pack at work and food stays perfectly cool 4 hrs later and what I haven't eaten is still pretty cool 6 hrs or more later as claimed. This, is in an air conditioned office. Sitting in the sun, i'm sure, would reduce the effective cool times. Overall v pleased. I would highly recommend.

We are pretty thrilled with this here bag for freezing and keeping lunches chilly while Kool (my offspring) awaits the appointed lunch hour at school. Ok, the kid hates me because I am unwilling to bend the rules that keep underclassmen trapped on campus. But if I am going to be such an unyielding son-of-a- ____ , the least I can do is make sure his nasty Jimmy John's Slim 5 with it's questionable-quality sliced lunchmeats stays cold during the first four class periods so he isn't tossing cookies when he gets home from having consumed rancid italian cold cuts. If you don't want your urchins to arrive home vomiting, buy this bag, freeze it nightly, and jam their vittles inside its ample capacity. It holds a lot of chow!

This is my sixth Packit Freezable lunch bag. However this is my first time ordering the Deluxe size. Love the fact you can put them in the freezer then just pull them out, put your lunch in and know that the food will still be cold at lunch time. I originally purchased two for my kids to use. They got tired of their lunches getting warm before they got to eat. Having to make room for a frozen pack took room away from food. Being able to put the bag in the freezer and having the sides act as a frozen pack is great.

Ist etwas nervig wenn man die Tasche in die Gefriertruhe packt.2. Die Klettverschlüsse dürfen ruhig etwas größer und besser haftend ausfallen.Jedoch beeinträchtigen diese Dinge nicht das Bewertungsergebnis! Klare Kaufempfehlung!

This is an amazing product , my office's fridge is gunky and no one takes care of itSo I store my lunch in this bag .it keeps my lunch nice and chilly for about 5 hours .Now I use a large Ikea 365 glass container , I suggest a pack it Hampton for that size

Gut, Sachen werden lange kühl gehalten, aber nimmt entweder dauerhaft viel Platz im TK ein -ist dann spontan verfügbar- oder man muss beizeiten wissen, wann man die Tasche braucht, um sie rechtzeitig in den TK zu packen -ist dann nicht spontan verfügbar-Wenn man vermeiden will, dass die Tasche Gerüche annimmt, empfiehlt es sich sie in einen TK-Beutel zu packen und zu verschließen, bevor sie für längere Zeit im TK verstaut wird.
