While it does help bruises, I use it on my varicose veins. My leg hurts terribly after standing all day and after rubbing this on, within minutes I have relief. It does not help all day but you can easily reapply and a little goes a long way. I use it every night before bed and wake up with zero leg pain. It's proven that arnica and wintergreen work wonderfully to penetrate sore muscles, etc. I would definitely give this a try. It's easy to transport, smells terrific, and a great price. I have ordered it four times now!

I am accident prone and constantly have bruises. This product helps cut down my healing time by 50%. I got a massive bruise a month before my wedding. Ordinarily a bruise of this size would take a long time to heal. But using arnica twice a day had it gone in under two weeks. Highly recommend!

Typically I would rave about this product and give it 100 stars, but I bought five tins the other day and it has changed: packaging, company, registration number and perceived content/formulation. It used to come in a tin, and now comes in a much smaller plastic round. It used to be produced by Laboratorios Bremer, SA and is now produced by Labortorios Renco, S.A. Upon close inspection, however, the content list appears to be identical and so the apparent "difference" must be a hallucination on my part. I really liked the old packaging because the tin was larger, easier to open and seems to effect the texture differently by "conducting" the cool breeze to make the product more solid instead of trapping in the summer heat and making it all melty the way the new plastic package does. Also, even though there is only a 3 gram difference (30 grams in old and 27 grams in new), the new one LOOKS a lot smaller. I haven't tried the new stuff yet, but pray that it really is the same because I am a clutz and the difference between no Arnica de la Abuela and a single application is giant, sore bruises that take several weeks to heal versus painless tiny shadows that fade in two or three days at most. Seriously. The stuff is so miraculous that I don't dare squander it on average muscle pain and cramps because I'm afraid of running out. And like so many others, I have tried other brands and they just do not compare in the slightest.

I have joint pain on my fingers. I applied it like a regular lotion and the pain went away. To be safe, I will continue to apply it. Not sure how it works but it definitely helped me. I don’t have a problem opening and closing the tin can.
