Okay so let's forget that the ingredients are simple and minimal, that's obvious, but skip to the taste. OMG. Growing up eating slim Jim's and all the other overly processed greasy salty sticks, Chomps steps up to the plate and smacks it out of the park! Unlike the ingredients, the taste is not simple. It's flavorful and seasoned to perfection. No greasy tongue! Also the size of the stick is perfect for that mid day hunger attack. Especially if you're low carb like I am. GREAT job Chomps! Customer for life!!

These are great to throw into my tote when making a drive to the city for appointments. Due to the pandemic, I try to take food with me so I don't have to stop & go in anywhere. I get tired of pre-made protein shakes and want something that's not sweet. These meat sticks are more filling. I've tried other quality meat sticks but they can be dry and mealy. This sticks are perfect - not greasy or spicy, just great flavor & texture.

They tasted better than I anticipated

A really good option for a grab-and-go snack, especially for anyone focusing on protein and low sugar options. I'm not a huge fan of the texture of the sticks, but the flavors and ingredients are really good.

No doubt that these are made from quality ingredients. I wish I could give them 5 stars for the ingredients :) I tried a few bits of one...then a few bites of another...then another.... My curiosity got the best of me! Were they all going to taste the same??? I like spicy foods so maybe I have burned my tasted buds off, but all of these except the Cranberry one, taste so similar I could barely detect a difference. If I closed my eyes, and kept all my muscles still, and really concentrated, there was an essence of a difference between the Italian and the jalapeno. The Original Turkey--oh my, that was nasty. (I had to coax the dog into eating that one, and it was a tough sell.) The cranberry one has a little kick to it, but its the flavor I'm least interested in since I'm not a big fan of fruit flavors with savory flavors. Yes, they are mushier than a Slim Jim but that snap is from hardened fat and chemicals (and who knows how long the preservatives allow them to sit on a shelf), so Chomps get a pass on texture But flavor? If you can make one that taste like a Tabasco Slim Jim, I would be an enthusiastic customer for life. I'll buy them to throw in my bag when I'm late for making dinner, but it won't be hard to avoid eating them at other times. I guess that's a plus.
