Worked perfectly to remove a cement stain on my TREX Porch
I bought this because I put a cement planter on our Trex porch. Even though I had a piece of carpeting under the pedestal, it still leached cement onto the Trex. I tried everything to remove it. Then I asked ChatGPT what to use that would be safe on Trex and this item came up. I needed very little. It was just a ring right in the middle of the porch, which was an eyesore; sprayed a little and you could just see it lift it off. It worked perfectly left no residue no staining. There were other brands available at the local hardware store, but it was not recommended to use those brands on Trex. Gotta love chat gpt.

WORKED AS DESCRIBED - Sakrete Concrete Dissolver
I've used this product twice since purchasing and it has worked easily and saved me money. I'll preface that I am a hobbyist, but concrete is concrete and concrete doesn't care who you ate. I make scales bricks for figures/dolls/collectibles and I accidentally left the bricks in too long, so had some cleanup. 1st pic = the product 2nd pic = the before dirty 3rd pic = the first round of cleaning 4th pic = the final result after touch-up TIPS - Read the instructions. Don't let the solution dry up or evaporate cause it's only going to harden. I spray, wait, and start cleaning. Midway, I spray the remaining again to make certain it stays moist/wet. Also, I don't spray with water. With gloved (nitrile) hands, I squish and rub the dissolved solution around to break it all up more. It will feel a bit like clay. THEN HOSE IT DOWN while continuing to work it with your fingers. Once again READ INSTRUCTIONS. After you rinse, let it FULLY DRY before you do a second round. I've used this on silicone and stainless steel with no issues. I LOVE this product! Thank, Sakrete!

Did not work for concrete splatter on car.
Did not work as described. Tried to dissolve concrete splatter on my car. Followed directions and let it soak, did not dissolve. Only softened a few spots and was able to scrape off with force, but otherwise my car remains covered in concrete splatter. Directions state that after application that concrete will rinse away with cold water hose or high pressure hose after following directions. Tried that and it did not work either. Avoid this product. On the bright side it did not damage car paint.

Works outstanding on vinyl siding.....not on painted surfaces.
My low pride local landscaper failed to protect the side of my pool house and splattered red concrete everywhere. I sprayed the concrete disolver on the vinyl siding first and let sit for about 15 minutes. I scrubbed with a brush and it completely rinsed off with water. I read another post with a negative review about its use on painted surfaces and thought he was crazy and didnt use per directions. However, the review was correct as it didnt seem to work at all on the steel painted door nor did it work on the aluminum fence. But I am happy it worked on the siding. 4 stars

Well, it’s not like the video...
I really, really wanted this to be a five star review. I saw a YouTube video where a guy sprayed this on a metal sheet with concrete splatter, waited about 15minutes and then hosed it down. The concrete started peeling off with minimal effort and a brush of his hand. That’s what I wanted. What I got was this: I sprayed it on, waited about 15 minutes and then I scrubbed and scrubbed. I sprayed again and scrubbed with a nylon brush. I sprayed again and scrubbed some more. Little pieces came of quickly but the bulk of the splatter was still there. I sprayed again (down to half the bottle now) and started scraping with a putty knife. The photo was taken before I went to the putty knife. Here are a few things to know: 1. It comes in a plastic bottle and despite the packing efforts it will leak a little. Packing was as good as can be expected but open your box and package outside when it comes. 2. Wear rubber gloves when you use it. I’m a man and don’t believe in reading instructions. After rubbing it with my unprotected hands for a while, it started to really irritate my skin. Ouch. 3. Read the instructions carefully and follow them. Yes, it’s a “natural” product but it potent. 4. Use it outside or in a well ventilated area so you don’t breath the fumes. 5. It’s not a spray on and hose off product. It takes lots and lots of elbow grease. 6. If concrete is on a painted surface, it WILL remove the paint as well as the concrete. 7. It worked...sort of. It’s better than scraping dry concrete off with a chisel. All in all I wasn’t disappointed but I wasn’t enamored. Maybe I dint get what I expected because my surface was painted. Maybe I didn’t act soon enough after the splatter got on the door to get it off. (It happened about a month and a half ago). Maybe I just had unreal expectations. In any case, I’d use it again but I will be prepared for some hard work.

Concrete on Car
Took the concrete off my car door in 2 rounds of dissolving and simply washed off the dissolver at the car wash. Didn't damage my paint and looks like it never happened. I couldn't recommend this product more.

Cleaned thinset mortar off Trex AMAZING!
First, follow the directions and it works amazing! I retiled my outdoor kitchen and let’s just say I’m not the neatest person when I’m in project mode. I used this for two things - first I mistakenly got mortar on the front of the porcelain tiles and did not get it cleaned off. Because this is a weekend project, the tile sat with mortar on the surface for a week. Sprayed this stuff on the mortar, let it set, sprayed again, then scrubbed with a steel stripping brush and voila! Clean tiles! Secondly, we have a composite deck and I got mortar and grout on the deck. I scraped all the chunks off, then sprayed this and used a normal scrub brush and it cleaned up fantastic!! My only problem is with Sakrete - I paid $30 for a bottle and not 5 days later, the price has shot up to $41!!! Stuff works great, but don’t pay the price on Amazon. Grainger, Walmart, or Family Hardware has it cheaper!

Works on Autos, but not painted garage doors or siding
Product description states it works on painted garage doors and houses. No it did not and I followed the directions exactly . I even applied it a second time . (Dried concreter splatter from a pour a month ago) I did have success with the splatter on my car’s paint so I gave it 2 stars .
