I like this product. It works well for backlighting on your TV. Two things, the IR control must be close to the edge of the back of the TV in order for it to receive signals from the controller. And, you will need some type of connector to turn the corners and keep the strip flat against the back of the TV. There are basically two kinds, one is a flat 4-pin L shaped connector. And there is a strap that can be turned to any angle. Either one will work well. I suggest the L shaped one. It's nice and flat with 3M adhesive to keep the whole thing flat and smooth. I started to give a lower rating to this product, because it didn't include those corner pieces. But, then I looked at all of the comparable products. NONE of them have the corner pieces included. So, compared to all the others, this one is just as good, if not better than any other at it's price point. Good purchase. Five stars.

I was enthusiastic about these as it would be fantastic to have some backlighting on my computer display. The brightness, however, is really poor if your display is more than a foot away from the wall behind it. While the remote control does have two buttons that appear to allow for increasing and decreasing the birghtness, I found them to not work for that purpose. What those two buttons did change was the pre-set auto color changing effect speed. Speaking of those effects, there are four on the remote: Flash, Strobe, Fade, Smooth. Flash and Smooth are the same effect and Strobe and Fade are the same effect, so you're really only getting two. In terms of manually setting colors using the color buttons on the remote, they worked fine initially, but now don't do what they are supposed to at all. The red and green blue buttons seems to have switched somehow. Additionally, none of the other colors under the "red family" of colors (oranges and yellows) are working at all. They all just end up being some kind of shade of blue. I think I can rule out bad connections for the RGB color channels because I can get just red, just green or just blue. So it seems the remote is not working as it should.Overall, it's rather disappointing.

This was very hard to install because it is a very thick/heavy strip and had absolute no stick and hard to install for corners. I had some glue dots that I am hoping will work to keep on back of TV. Wasn't ideal but what I had. If the TV gets too warm I am afraid it will come off since it is so heavy. I have bought several of these over the past few years and this is the worse...... Once I had it installed, using glue dots, the USB strip would not stay attached to the light strip. If it was held in a certain position I was able to get it to light. But with movement, or time, off it went. I am returning to purchase elsewhere.

At first I didn't think it'd work because I had it plugged in and nothing was turning on, then I realized I just had to flip the connector that connects the LED strip to the USB wire. So if you think it doesn't work, remember to flip it and try the other side!There are so many color and display options! I personally prefer using the pink color haha. I have this right behind my computer monitor and it just looks really neat. The instruction packet had clear instructions that were easy to follow and the remote is is easy-to-use.Also note that once you cut the strip, you can't use the rest of it as it doesn't plug in anymore. You won't be able to attach the strips on all 4 sides of something unless you bend it a bit; cutting it in 4 pieces will NOT work as only one side will work (the one that attaches to the USB wire). I personally use just one strip at the top of the backside of my monitor and it still looks great. Either that or you can put one strip across the middle of the backside.

It says it's for up to 60in tvs, and while I have a 55in tv (with virtually no additional space for the frame), the backlight is not long enough to go all the way around and look nice. It isn't super easy to make right angles with, so even making it stick was a bit frustrating. However, once it was all on, it looks really cool. When the tv is pulled enough away from the wall you can't really tell that I was only able to do the top and sides because the light splashes through the bottom slightly anyway. I just wish it was either longer or advertised to not work on large tvs...

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  We used these LED lights for the back of a TV in a playroom.What we did not like was that there were no specific ways to curve around the corner that a TV naturally has. So as you see in the photo there was a bubble where we turned the corner to lay the next trip on the TV.We also used scotch tape to hold the strip in place as shown in the video.We put on a small 32 inch tv and it was just enough length… I’d think this was too chalk to go around a large tv though.

These lights are okay however, when compared to Pangton Villa Led for the same size tv (and same price) it's clear that this product was the wrong choice. The Pangton Villa product will offer you a more, it comes with corner connectors so you can lay the light flush against the back of your screen (which this one doesn't) and every part is easy to replace. This products use of the 24 key *RF* remote does provide better connectivity. However, it is much harder to replace than the more common IR remote that the Pangton Villa kit offers. Another thing to note is that the led strip is permanently connected to the RF receiver. so, if your receiver brakes or your remote stops working you are gonna be stuck replacing the whole thing.

I liked how the remote is instantly always connected to the lights, no need to go through a set up process as everything works perfect out of the box. Note that this is a single line of lights, they're not pre cut or anything so if you want to have a shorter line, you going to have to cut the lights yourself.

This item arrived unboxed in a plastic bag.It had been used before as the backing strip was pulled off and the strip was not very sticky.Only 3 lights worked and the connector was in 3 pieces.Very poor returned for refund.

Love the look it gives the room (all the TVs have them)Sticking them was a little hard going round corners of the tv but can’t tell where the lights are bent round the corner.Definitely recommend this

Not very impressed it came a a bag not a box brought as a gift the bag makes it look secondhand and that the box is missing so not pleased at all.

Remote doesn’t even work soI can’t change the lights, not even been used absolute waste of money

I won't recommend. It makes a hissing sound when connected my TV usb port. TV promp prompted a high voltage usb device must be disconnected.
