Absolutely junk!!!
It's power supply is way under performance and erratic, components connected to it will not operate at all. There is voltage but not sufficient and erratic output. Don't waste your time and money on this junk.

Does not work.
Item does not work. Purchased the item for use in the Middle East. Convertor powers on but does not reduce the output voltage to my plugged in devices. I tried it on a set of hair trimmers and a small travel appliance, it didn't work for either one. Would not recommend.

Snores softly
The insert that accompanied the converter discouraged me from even trying to use my laptop in Denmark. It said, not for laptops. I'd brought a cheap laptop that did not have the 220/110 ok label, so I decided to wait until I got home to sort my travel photos, and all that. My travel partner thought I'd be ok using it. But though cheap, I didn't want to sacrifice my new laptop on a hope that it would work out ok. Anyhow, I used the USB ports on this computer to charge our cell phones, and admit there might have been a way to use it to charge the laptop as well. If someone could check this out and provide a clear answer, I'd be grateful. Oh, and btw this converter starts snoring lightly after it's been on a while. For me, it was a pleasant white noise. For my companion, not so much.

Good product but noisy.
It works as described, it steps down the power. However the fan turns on and off every 2-3 seconds. Which is a bit annoying. Don't know if I can put up with it overnight charging my devices.

Works well for Dyson vacuum. Doubtful on TV.
The media could not be loaded. It’s a good product as I got it for use with my US spec Dyson vacuum for use in Europe. It handles that, no problem. However, it seems to blink red when I try it my tv. My wife tried it on a small toahiba & it fried it. I’ve tried it on a Samsung and it immediately started blinking red so I didn’t even risk it.So as of today it’s still going strong for my vacuum but not the TV. Go figure...thought it would be opposite.

Noisy when used for phone charging only
Noisy fan kicks in and out when using just low voltage chargers for phone. This is for more energy demanding items like hair dryers or tvs where the fan would stay on.

Horrible product - THESE DO NOT WORK - DO NOT RECOMMEND
I ordered three of these voltage converters based on the positive reviews of the product and on the personal assurance from the seller that these converters would work in Europe in the long term (we moved from the US and wanted to continue to use our appliances vs. purchasing everything new). These converters do not work and I do not recommend you buy them. We tried all three of the converters with three of our appliances, following all directions, using correct outlets, ensuring we only had mechanically controlled appliances with no auto on/off, making sure the converter was on (there is a button to turn it on before you connect your appliance), etc. Two of our appliances are completely burned out - one an expensive espresso machine (1700 Watts, 50/60Hz) and the other a popcorn popper (1400 Watts, 50/60Hz) which literally caught fire. The third appliance, a coffee grinder, didn't get ruined but also didn't get enough power through the converter to effectively grind the coffee. Because we only got our appliances here in Europe a few days ago, the return window for the converters has now closed and so we've effectively lost $150 in converters as well as $500+ in burned out and/or repurchased appliances (since now we have to purchase European appliances here anyway - toaster, chopper, blender, coffee machine, hand mixer, stand mixer, rice cooker, etc, in addition to the three mentioned above).I wish we had gone with a converter/converters that were of higher quality, i.e. probably more expensive, so that we wouldn't have wasted all of this time, money, and materials. Writing this review so you don't make the same mistake we did!
