Latin Percussion LP Twist Shaker - Loud, Red

Excellent. LP products are the best. In the future I will look no where else.The sound is distinct enough and loud enough to be heard with a band playing. Great price too

Well maid large shaker. Put out lots of volume and fun to play. Wife wishes the came in more colors.

Great sound! I sing and play in my church worship band. I had a nice shaker, but the sound didn't carry well. I bought this shaker (loud), and now all can hear it loud and clear!! On stage it sounded a bit too loud, but as soon as I used it, the sound guys said it sounded great. To my surprise, the two sides unscrew. It can be used as a single shaker or...buy a medium shaker and twist them together for a different sound. The sturdy plastic worked well when tapping the tamborine with it. I am Highly satisfied and would recommend this shaker.

Well made and very loud. I had to return and order the blue ones. Not so loud.

I have each of these unique shakers, soft, medium, and loud, and they are exceptionally versatile, great sounding and easy to play, singly or in a pair. Easier than maracas to master, but with as much variety in sounds, they are easy to recommend. These loud ones are for stage use with amplified instruments, and might not need any micing. The medium ones will be good for quieter, but still amplified acoustic instruments and voices, un-miced. For strictly u-miced acoustic instruments, as guitar and voice, the soft model is best.

To me this red shaker produces a mushy, poorly defined sound -- not crisp and clean. I think the beads (or whatever they are) may be too large. All the other shakers in this LP line sound great. The loudest, most precise shaker I've found so far is the large Pearl Hex Ganza. Strapping two of them together may be the way to go if you really need to cut through but retain clean, controllable chicks and longer sounds.

I love these percussion shakers. They each have their own unique sound. A great feature of these shakers is they are inter-changeable. All you have to do is twist a pair apart and connect two different shakers by twisting them back together.

The beads inside create a very harsh sound. I will probably not use them. I use a mic & this is over powering. My problem. I was looking for a louder sound, but more sandy sounding.

個人的には青色がファーストコールですが、結局、黄色も含め全部買ってしまいました。ボリューム感で両手違う色でプレイしたりしてますし、ハーフandハーフ、違う色どうし合体もマグネットで楽しめます。余談ですが、 元々はヤクルトの空き殻２つ、飲み口をくっつけて片方にで米粒、砂利を入れて、その名も"ノミカス"と命名したコンガの古谷哲也がおられましたが、特許を取ってなかったので一攫千金を逃しました。
