This sleek switch, with its single gang, one-way functionality, is a superb example of a standard switch—no wireless or kinetic fuss here.The installation was refreshingly simple, especially since I was replacing a broken switch. The elegant white finish and gently curved edges add a touch of sophistication, though the design was secondary to functionality for me.Securing the live and neutral cables was a breeze; all you need is a flathead screwdriver. I can't stress enough how important it is to call in a professional electrician if you feel unsure about changing a light switch—your safety should always come first. There are generic instructions, but the diagrams are overwhelming, and the text is rather tiny.One delightful feature is the loud, crisp sound it makes when flicked on and off. I also wanted to install colour-changing bulbs in my light fitting, and this switch is perfectly compatible for that, adding versatility to my lighting options.In summary, this light switch performs flawlessly and is an ideal choice for anyone in search of a reliable and attractive basic switch. 💡 The light switch comes with a slim 7 mm curved plate, three screw cap covers, and a one-gang, one-way mechanism designed for a single light or a group of lights on a single-way circuit. The extra screw cap provided is useful, as they are quite small and could be misplaced. It is a 230 V, 10 A unit, identified by the model number CU1000.💡 I found installation straightforward, as the switch mechanism is compact enough to sit well in a shallow back box or pattress. The gently rounded edges give it a softer appearance compared with standard flat plates, and the caps leave a clean finish once fitted. The screw length is adequate for a shallow installation and the switch action positive enough. In use it performs as expected for a one-way switch, and overall, it represents good value for what is supplied. ✔️

Not a bad price, although there's not much to them and they look like what they are on the surface, i.e. squares of white plastic. They're pretty easy to fit, although the instructions that come with them are in such a small font that you need really good eyesight or a magnifying glass to reads them. Fortunately, there are plenty of online sources to show you where the wires go. The important thing is that they work and this is a great improvement on the dimmer switches I had installed by two professional electricians, one of which failed within the first month and another in about a year.

Nice looking with rounded features but once installed it is clearly off white and not as brilliant white as the adjacent paintwork.

Got value for money

Easy to wire up, does the job well. I use it with a tapo smart bulb so it is prity much always on. Would reccomend
