I bought these maybe a couple of months ago, and have been using them for several weeks now. Let me preface this by saying that I'm the kind of person who gags easily when getting x-rays done at the dentist, and I was absolutely terrified that these lite mouthguards might slip and I'd choke on them in my sleep. Still, my roommate started to complain about my teeth grinding at night, and it would get much worse when I was stressed about pretty much anything. I never woke up with any headaches or soreness like teeth-grinders apparently do, so I had no idea! Grinding has worn my teeth down a little bit, but not to an extreme. On the first night, I tried one on my lower teeth. It worked out great and was most 'natural' feeling that way. The guard did not slip around and I was really relieved to not have any issues that I feared. The material is super durable and I can't imagine the intensity of grinding or clenching that it would take to chew through it in one night. I did find quickly that wearing the guard on my lower jaw caused some soreness on the little central webbed section between gum and cheek, even though there's a small indent in the guard to account for this. So after a couple of nights, I switched the guard up to my upper teeth. It feels a little weirder to me there but still fits fine and doesn't irritate anything at all. I have used them every night (and on the one or two that I've forgotten, I got complaints about grinding) with absolutely no issues. Sometimes I do wake up chewing on it and it slightly warps the 'wings' of the guard but not to any significant amount. After taking one out in the morning, my bite feels kind of weird for maybe a minute before the feeling is gone and back to normal. I don't try to make each one last 2 weeks like a lot of others have said. I give it about a week, and rinse one thoroughly in water before and after I use it. I'm still not even halfway through the package yet. It really is just an unnoticeable little teeth separator that has completely stopped my ability to grind at night, and probably more effective than whatever bulky thing I might have to pay out the wazoo for at the dentist! When my current package runs out, I will buy more without hesitation!

I've spent $60 on 1 and would mess up my gums. Normally $20 ‐ 40 bucks for 1 and they're too thick, uncomfortable, cheeks, gums, just bad, too many of them and all from well known pharmacies too. Accidently came across these for cheap as emergencies and they're my all time favorite! So comfortable, flexible, thin, basic, stays in place just fine, 1 will last me for months making it very inexpensive to have! There's no actual case so I use one from my previous very expensive guard that I hated & trashed. For heavy biters guard will get destroyed in days, but that only happened to me once. Overall for the cost, comfort, effectiveness, plus quantity, I give it a six star. So important for my health and appearance made me rate a product so high for the fist time!

These are fantastic! I had been using similar mouth guards from Target but they were $15 for just 2! So, I decided to give these a shot since they are so much cheaper and the shape was similar. I also tried the mouth guard that you mold to your teeth but they were awful and didn't fit correctly at all. Super uncomfortable and couldn't close my mouth with it in. These, however, fit pretty good. It's smaller and less bulky than the one I'd used that I'd liked from Target. No more jaw pain (I've been a clencher since having my wisdoms removed). My only complaint is that some nights they rub up against my gums as they fit a little too snuggly which is surprising considering I have a pretty small mouth. As long as I leave it loose, it works great! I'll continue to buy these.

I would like to explain this product to those that don't understand it. This is not a FULL fit night mouth guard and does not MOLD to your teeth. It is purposely made to be small, compact, and only go back as far as a couple of molars and for bigger mouths, a molar and a half. The material it made from is soft but firm, firm being the more appropriate word. I have read reviews of people saying these are not for clenches only grinders. I have also read that these shift teeth. First, put them in just as you are ready to fall asleep. Upper teeth or lower teeth, it doesn't matter. I like wearing them on my upper teeth. Second, take them out as soon as you wake up. Do not leave them in more than 8 hours, in my opinion. Third, I soak mine on my nightstand in mouthwash in a plastic container with a lid. I use them for about a week (my choice) then throw them out. One, you will FEEL like your teeth have shifted when you remove the night protector at first in the morning. It is JUST a SENSATION. Your teeth have not moved and the FEELING will go away in a short time, sometimes an hour or more. This is normal and I have felt this with almost every night protector I have ever used. IF you feel this way after waking up, you have done some serious grinding or clenching during the night. Thank goodness you had the guard in. Two, it has 100% protected my jaw against my clenching because before using this product I was having severe tooth pain in the back sides of my mouth, severe jaw pain, and headaches on the side of my face that I was doing the most clenching on. Using this product now for two weeks, the pain has gone away! In the morning, my mouth feels funny when I take out the protector and bite down a few times. After that, everything is fine. I also noticed that when I eat now I don't have the same tooth sensitivity that I had prior to using the night protector. Maybe this product isn't for everyone, but the 1 stars should not be a reflection on this product and the function that it serves. I can't wait to order my next set of protectors once these have been all used up. Remember, these are partial night protectors, short enough not to cover all molars; it was intended to function that way, there is nothing wrong with it. If you want the full night protector order the OzDenta Custom Fit Night Mouth Guard and you will be happy. But please stop giving this product 1 stars just because you didn't understand its size and purpose before you purchased it. Read the reviews and the Q&A section before buying.

The mouth guard takes one or two uses to get used to. This is comfortable, non slip and protects my teeth. I have bought this product twice now

I have tried many others.......too much fuss, preparation, fitting..... the materials are hard and thick, hurt, misfit, misalign. Plackers is the Best .....instant fit, sleek, just the right design, no protrusions.

I was sceptical about ordering these but after my cat took off with the one my dentist made I was left with no grind/clench guard and a mouth that hurt. After sleeping with it for several nights I have found these work better that the one that was moulded to my upper teeth. I like that I can wear this on my bottom teeth and it keeps my teeth apart. I was worried I would spit it out like the ones I had been trying in the weeks before I ordered. My teeth are arranged in a way that traditional jaw moulds never really fit and left me with ill fitting silicone upper teeth grind guards. I found had a couple nights with dry throat because I wasn't used to having my upper and lower jaw separated all night. I will continue to order these as I find them more comfortable than the expensive one from my dentist.

After suffering from jaw pain, I was recommended a night guard. I tried four brands that were more “reusable” than these, and hated THEM ALL. I have a fairly small mouth and with most of them, I was unable to even close my mouth, let alone sleep! These go in easily, are comfortable, and stay in place all night. Highly recommend!

Useless product as it seems the set has been made for kids does not fit to an adult . Complete waste of money.
