I only gave it a One Star rating because ZERO stars are not allowed. After installing it kept going off (which it is supposed to do), BUT it wouldn’t SHUT OFF the the way the instructions said it should. We had to completely dismantle it TWICE from the pool all the while listening to it scream at a very high decibel. After the second time, we decided to purchase a different unit. Unfortunately due to pool installation delays, all of this happened outside of the one month return window. We have repeatedly called the manufacturer and get a voice mail that says to leave a message, but that’s not possible because the voice mail box is full. We have also emailed them and tried to contact through Amazon and have received NO RESPONSE. Terrible product and ridiculous NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. BUYER BEWARE.

I did not know you had to drill holes in the concrete to mount this. I’m not drilling holes. Looks like it would work though

Fabulous product. Easy to install, and has worked every time. I go out to disarm the alarm, but have grandkids jump in first to test every day. Works like a charm!

The unit works very good. Good hardware and instructions.The first issue was with height required to function properly.I had to use 2, 2x4 pressure treated lumber to get the unit high enough to function. Once I had the height, the unit can be adjusted up or down a couple inches to adjust for evaporation.The big drawback was it is so sensitive that a sudden breeze will set it off. Or if my pool cleaner gets anywhere near it.If you live somewhere with virtually zero wind, it works well.The indoor remote siren functions as intended.

To be fair, I didn't bother with tech support. I returned it.I found the pool eye to be annoying and unreliable. Installation was a pain. WAY too many tiny screws. Also, there is no way to shut the unit off indefinitely while you install. So the alarm goes off. A LOT. Once installed, I hade several false alarms. No disturbance in the water, but the unit went off anyway. Cleaning the pool is a pain with it installed too. Again, no way to shut it off indefinitely. You have to put it in swim mode and then make sure you disturb it enough to keep it in swim mode. The worst though was that it wouldn't go off when someone got in the pool. If someone was to fall in, sure, that would probably do it. But my 37lb toddler could climb right in undetected (and did, several times). I was there and I knew no one was going to get hurt, but the whole reason I bought the thing was to alert me if he tried to get in the pool. I recommend steering away from this and going with a physical barrier.

The alarm works great in our pool. There was a problem with the screws not being long enough to mount to the pool. We had to purchase longer ones. Overall, a good alarm to have with a grandchild in the home.

My initial review (roughly 12 hours after install) is that this thing is terribly executed. It seemed to work great for about 5 hours, but as soon as midnight rolled around it was going off for no discernible reason.I should add that there is no remote shutoff so a midnight alarm means a midnight walk outside.I had hoped to find a bear in the pool or something worth waking me up, but conditions in the pool were identical to the prior 5 hours. There wasn't even a breeze.I ripped it out the first night. I'll probably reinstall it just long enough for the inspector to see I have it and then I will be sending this overpriced piece of crap back.It is really a bummer to look at all the different pool alarms and see they all suck and fail to deliver on sustainable pool safety.
