Maps are great. Other reviews claimed too small but easy to read for a 3.5 x 5.5 notebook. Tabs, tracing paper, etc. will be very helpful in trip planning. Will easily fit in purse or backpack.

Fun for all, useful to most

This series of notebooks easily has the best maps around! Buy all the travel guides you want, but make sure you buy this before you leave home! Even without using the journal pages in the back, this is easily one of the best things I could buy to come to Europe. I had the  Moleskine City Notebook Paris  when I studied abroad and I learned very quickly to trust the maps in this book as it has every single street in the city on the map. It also has pages that list all the streets and tell you where to find them on the map!If you're like me and you love getting yourself lost while wandering around cities, buy this book so that you can find your way back to your hotel/apartment/hostel/box at the end of the day.

I love the book but I didn’t realized that maps and streets names are so small that can’t be read. It is true you need a magnifying glass. I will be nice if the make the same moleskin city notebook bigger (5 x 8.25). I will be able to see the maps….

Great size for an upcoming trip. I plan on putting all intended visits and places to see in this book! I have a similar book for Amsterdam that I used last year and it was the most useful item I had with me!

Fantastic pocket resource for a trip to the Big Apple.

I love Moleskine notebook’s but this one was disappointing. It wasn’t what I was expecting. Hard to make it your own guide. The structure doesn’t really work for me. I like the maps that come inside but it is just not a practical notebook.

The bulk of this notebook consists of maps and street names which are so tiny that they can't be read without a magnifying glass. A blank Moleskine notebook would be much more useful. In addition, it arrived more than two weeks after the outside delivery date, rendering it useless for the purpose of planning a trip. The seller promised a refund due to the delay but did not honor it. It was definitely not worth the money or the hassle.

This is a great idea for a book. The maps are useful and the transparent overlays mean that you can draw on the map without permanently defacing anything. The metro map is out of date, they have re-organized how the lines run and this caused a problem trying to find the right train.This needs to be used in conjunction with another source of data - there is no information other than the maps in here. I used the Rough Guide to Brussels and picked out the highlights to write in this book. I also put in travel times, train timetables and hotel information.During the visit I collected a number of tickets, and I used this book as a scrapbook, so I now have a reminder of what I saw during my visit.

A notebook with maps and tabbed pages. Simple, but I love this range. As always with moleskine hardback notebooks the cover is bulletproof and looks good no matter how you treat it. I use them to write notes before I go and refer to maps so I can plan trips. I then use part of it as a journal while I am there. They end up quite messy but also a complete record of my trips.
