The center bar broke during the first flight during lift ...
The center bar broke during the first flight during lift off at 10mph wind 30 ft off the ground. It was very disappointing. If this were to happen 500ft in the sky, the kite will crash and become very hard to retrieve. Imagine the kite line stranded across the beach highway. This will be a serious hazard for the public. The cross section shows that the carbon fiber frame is way too thin to withstand beach wind. Into the Wind need to stop selling this kite before they put stronger carbon fiber frame.

Weak spars
Very disappointed with this kite. Only reason I'm giving this kite 3 stars is because of the awesome customer service by Devin from ITW. Devin took care of my return and gave me a full refund. Kite is made out of high quality material. However kite is a unstable flyer at the beach. When wind is exceeding 14mph kite pulls to the left a lot. Kite did well under lower winds. Second flight spar broke in to two pieces while I had the kite up 500ft under 15-16mph winds. I had to return my kite. Upon more research this is common for this kite. ITW needs to give this kite stronger spars. This kite is going to do well if you fly in a park with very low and stable winds. Colors of the kite looks awesome in blue sky.

Amazing kite
This is an amazing kite, but you have to know that it pulls extremely hard on moderate winds, so be carefull, it flies better on slow winds, and as they says, this will fly with winds where no other kites fly

Amazing kite, not designed for beach flying.
I own one of these kites and they’re fantastic. They’re not designed for flying at the beach. I think people are not grasping this fact. Additionally when you invest in Kites like these, you keep back up rods. They’re made to last a lifetime. Mine was bought as a kid. I’m almost 40 now.

GREAT Kite !!
The claim that this kite can fly in light winds is true. Make sure you place the spar in all the provided loops AND for stability you may wish to add a few tails. They do sell tails that match the color of the kite perfectly. When the winds are light, the Alpine Delta Coyne (pronounced similar to Coney Island!!) is one of my favorite kites. 10 feet may sound big to some of you, but once it is in the sky, the size is very appropriate. If you are a beginner this kite is easy to fly! Great quality!!
