Red pepper is used in a lot of things. Love the flavor on my pizza but I got these for my Chickens. Chickens will eat just about everything, but they cannot feel the spiciness nor heat of red pepper flakes. They are good for keeping parasites/worms from growing inside them. I love the value in getting the bulk bag that saves me money. Chickens have not complained

I bought this for my chickens. I had read that it can help keep them warm during the winter and it helps to deter rodents from their food. Didn’t realize that red pepper could be used to help avoid worms. Well, this product actually helped kill some worms. I had no idea my chickens had worms. I found a bunch of dead worms in a pile. I thought it was string at first and went to remove it. When I looked closer I realized it was a bunch of worms. I think this product is great for what I got. A lot of crushed red pepper flakes to keep my girls warm and dewormed lol. I will be buying this again.

This was my third crushed red pepper flakes from this company. The first 2 were 5 lb bags, and were perfect. This time I purchased a 10 lb bag. Although the quality is still great, the crushed red pepper flakes in this bag were moist and clumpy. No mold, but I felt I needed to remove all the flakes from the bag and spread them out to dry. Due to the extra work on my part, I dinged them a star. Despite this experience, I would readily buy from this company again.

I use this as a supplement in my chicken feed. I love the size of the bag, can usually fill up the 2 jugs that I have for storage. Great freshness, they are vacuum sealed and you can smell the great aroma when you break the seal. It is a great value for the money because like I said, it fills up to half gallon jugs that I store them in.

I put crushed red pepper on everything. I also have a few vehicles I can’t put up for the winter. Bingo! I filled up my gallon pitcher with flakes and sprinkled the flakes all around the tires and under the engine to deter rodents from eating my wires. So far so good!
