Great Product!
Super easy to install, great directions and work perfectly. Third time I bought these, all for different cars. Keeps the hood a little higher than with the prop rod and the hood goes up on it's own. Got the first one for a Jeep I had. Airing up my tires after a ride, I connect the compressor to the battery. The wind was blowing hard and it blew the hood up and the factory prop rod popped out of it's hole. Caught it with no damage but when I got home I placed the order for this product. Now, the hood stays rock solid and no fears of the factory prop rod coming loose. Also, no rod across the center of the hood area for routine maintenance.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have several Jeep friends who had purchased and installed these on their jeeps, so thought I would give the a try based on their feedback. Let me just say that being able to just open the latch and have the hood smoothly rais without me is an amazing feeling. No more fussing with the inconvenient stock hood holder bracket.Functionality:This is a must especially for those lifted jeeps. No more needing a step stool to reach the hood support Fit:These are super easy to install. It takes about 20 minutes or less to do both sides.

Install brackets and easy but firmly push struts onto ball-stud…done!
The media could not be loaded. QUICK and SUPER EASY to install! Just need 10mm socket and ratchet. Hold hood firmly open and goes down easy to secure closed. Only issues was small mark on one bracket I had to put a little black paint on. High quality gas shocks and all hardware required was included, even super clear instructions. Very well packaged on top of everything else to ensure no damage during shipping.

Perfect for Wrangler JL hood
Game changer! Installed very easily in 2024 Rubicon. No more fussing with the poorly designed stock support that pulls down from the hood. These raise the hood and support it perfectly.
