My son loves these. They are safe and the only downside is he won’t put them down. He is in TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) mode all day with these. He is 6.

Nice pair of practice Nunchucks for my grandsons
I used these when I was a child, and now I got them for my younger grandsons. They have a blast with them, practicing like they see on YT, and they don't hurt when they hit the body. I think these are GREAT, and well worth the money.

good for training
I'm learning martial arts and got these to practice at home. Foam padding is safe, and they are good for training. Only issue is the connecting string is a bit longer than "real" nunchuks, so you need to shorten it up if you want to duplicate what you see in your dojo.
