Works incredibly well. The handle will over time become a little loose, but nothing that is too compromising of its purpose and function. Despite the fact that it's stainless steel, it will want to eventually get rust spots. As long has you're proactive and hand wash it and dry it immediately, it should be fine. My wife wasn't taking care of it as she should have, so as long as you're not letting it sit wet, you should be fine.

I bought this because it claims to be a zester, but if you actually tried zesting citrus with this you'd soon find out why this product only gets two stars. The teeth are huge and jagged, basically shredding the skin of the fruit right down to the pith. I nearly took off a finger the first time I tried it. It works fine for hard cheeses, but I already have a box grater so it defeats the purpose. Plus, the one I received was poorly made with a crooked handle. I'm not impressed at all and wish I'd gone with the Microplane as originally planned.

This is not really what I was expecting - much larger. Did not work at all for zesting citrus. I think it would work quite well for Parmesan, etc. Still searching for a zester. The safety cover is a nice feature.

This grater is really sturdy and grates finely. Debris doesn't really get caught in it, I just rinse it a little bit after use, and put it in the dishwasher, comes out clean and shiny. The protector is such a wonderful addition so someone super clumsy like me doesn't cut herself. The curved end comes in very handy when you place the grater across above a container (bowl, baking pan, dish).

I love this product! It's simple, fast, and affordable! I would recommend if you don't already own a grater/zester combo, that you invest in this one! You won't be disappointed, I've never used anything like it...and for the money you can't go wrong.
