Works as described. Be sure to remove the vacuum pump drive adapter.
This kit includes all the parts needed to properly time a 2.0 turbo ecoboost engine. It should be noted. You HAVE to remove the vacuum pump drive adapter on the end of the front camshaft before timing. The tool will fit with the adapter still on but the timing will be way off. This step is not clearly noted in Alldata or Mitchell.

I've been a mechanic for more than 15yrs, I run my own shop so I am no rookie, purchased this for a 2017 Ford Escape SE 2.0 Ecoboost to do a head gasket on so obviously the timing has to be reset. Tool did not fit in place but we we're in a time crunch for the customer so we had to cut off a piece of the section that seats into the rear of the intake cam because it would set in place on the intake cam but was no where near close to the exhaust cam. If you are new or inexperienced with these tools I do not recommend because they come with no instructions or even tool numbers so you know which one to use as indicated in a repair manual. Look elsewhere.
