Great Food! Only Thing Cat Will Eat!
Taste of the Wild is the only think my cat will eat that doesn't bug his bowels besides fresh fish/meat and rice cakes. He wouldn't even eat a dried minnow treat I tried once that all the neighborhood strays gobbled up and begged for, so it must taste good. Larger size is great and keeps the cost down. Can be left out all day for nibbling and free feeding without getting stale. Smells good. Nice size pellets. Blends nicely with Taste of the Wild wet food. My boy likes both available on his plate for his picking & choosing. Happy that it's healthy and not full of the junk flavors, colors, corn, and other junk ingredients most cat foods have. Keep it coming!

Best Chicken-Free Cat Kibble Option
If you’re looking for a quality food for your cats - this is the way to go! I have a cat with a chicken allergy and it is actually really tough to find chicken-free kibble for cats that isn’t astronomically priced. This is a great healthy kibble with well-sourced ingredients that my cats love to eat and is chicken-free.

First Food my Picky Cat with Digestion Issues Loves that Loves Him Back!
I've had my cat for 7 years. During that time he has been the pickiest eater. Despite being a large-framed breed, he has always been very slim and light (under his massive coats of super long fur!). He's always just nibbled at his food, eaten no more than a few bites at once, and thrown it back up about a third of the time.Also--and I'm sorry to be indelicate, but I know most cat family will understand--his bowel movements have also always been super smelly! He has also always been pretty fussy about his food, even turning his nose up at most wet food, and taking no more than two or three bites of the wet foods he did approve of.I've taken him to the vet regularly, and after blood work and stool tests and exams they put him on a prescription high-protein food. He threw that up too. I've tried Blue Buffalo, IAMS, and several other brands, from high-end to average and have had no luck.I finally found this Taste of the Wild food at my local Agway, and I'll admit that it was the lovely nature drawings on the bags of the various flavors that first drew my attention. But after reading the ingredients, I found that it seemed on par nutrition-wise with the prescription food I'd been buying (at $50 a bag) that we'd long-since given up on.So I tried it, and lo and behold, Mr. Picky Eater tucked right in! He loved it, and he kept it down. I have never found a pile of this food thrown up anywhere (again, cat owners, I know you understand), and now when he uses the litter box we don't even always know it because the terrible smell is no more. He's put on a little weight and loves to get the bowl filled. I'm wondering if its that these are meats that are not in most cat food. (we've been getting the venison and salmon flavor), but that's only my guess.I have a second cat who was rescued from the streets, and who, after having to really struggle for food when he was homeless, is now very food-motivated. Whatever I try to give my picky eater, this boy loves and eats whatever his brother leaves behind plus his own portion. And yet he is not a fan of the Taste of the Wild food. I've continued giving him his favorite, which is Purina Naturals Indoor Cat.I can tell who is eating what by watching, but even when I don't, Mr. Picky Eater has a system that lets me know when and what he eats. He has a little bin of his favorite sparkle-ball toys, and every time he eats he leaves one in the dish. It's not that he drops them mid-play or anything; when he thinks nobody is watching, I see him go to the bin of sparkly balls, take a minute to choose just the right one for the moment, carry it to the food bowl, drop it in, and then eat. It's like he is paying for his food with sparkle-balls. Maybe that's not the most relevant to this review, but it's too cute not to share. And importantly, I'm finding sparkly balls left as payment more often, and in bigger numbers, and seeing the food actually disappear!(Mr. Will-Eat-Anything still tries to cover his food, thinking someone will come take it, so I also know what he's eating and when. We're working on it so he's never worried about being hungry again, but it takes time. But I also know what he's eating because of his covering behavior, and it's not the Taste of the Wild. He once dragged a black trash bag full of empty soda bottles waiting to be returned over his food dish. He's serious about hiding it!)Bottom Line:Good nutrition, I assume good flavor (I don't personally like the smell--Amazon asks for a star rating for flavor, but I'm not gonna try it!), endorsed by at least one picky eater, and possibly easy on the stomach. Make sure you give lots of fresh water with dry food diets, and enjoy your cats!

Wonderful, especially kittens and mamas
We inherited a colony and are working on getting them all fixed. Right now we have a half a dozen litters and I even have a mother still feeding the last one, though she just had a new one. They also feed each other’s babies. Needless to say these cats, all need nourishment of the best kind. I’ve always like taste of the wild.Years ago I used it for my older cats, and I watched as their bodies changed for the better instead of puffy they became sleek and muscular with gorgeous shiny coats. This happened within a month or two it was that quick. I am only on my second bag of this but I got a larger one because they love it. My females are very petite one in particular really had it knocked out of her she delivered seven babies. They are all looking healthy from what I can see. I still stay at a distance, she will introduce them when she is readyI’ve tried others more expensive and not impressed. I keep going back to taste of the wild. This particular blend is great because it will take care of the babies and the moms. I have also added a supplement for the mothers to pass to the babies through the milk.
