Wonderful Bible and study tool!
A great, colorful study guide with lots of pictures and charts. Really have found it quite useful in personal study and for preparatory materials. I love the ruggedness of hardcover and of course the NIV translation stands up. The print is bold and in an easy-to-read typeface, and the explanations and graphics are really nice. Great investment for the price!

easy to read
The charts and diagrams are colorful and helpful. The information is helpful without getting in the way. The pages of the Bible have an attractive color scheme. The NIV translation is clear, easy to read, and presents the Bible in natural and unstilted English. While I'm in my mid-60s, I understand how the 2011 translation updates the 84 translation for a younger generation. The NIV was the first Bible I read that I could understand, and I'm grateful it has been modernized for a new generation.

Terrific!
Infographics are designed to convey a snapshot of information. This Bible is full of them. It has practical comparisons, timelines and applications. The sections are color-coded. What a great way for a novice to navigate the books of the Bible. I especially like the 2 page timeline that repeats through out, identifying where the events or book are placed as you move through the volume. This bible is appropriate for kids as well as adults, whether the reader is new to the bible, a teacher, or one who has spent years studying. It's full of new insights for me, and I've been teaching the bible for many years to children and adults. A novel concept that is long overdue.

When I went to my grandson's room I picked it up and just loved the layout
Luv, Luv, Luv this Bible. I luv books and that includes Bibles. I have several of them. When I went to my grandson's room I picked it up and just loved the layout. I like the "pictures" and the inviting colors and the highlights, like Abraham's Family Tree, Key of old Testaments Covenants, highlights from Gideon's and Samson's Reign, Contrast of characters (God vs Saul), Displays of Worship in the book of Psalms. Lifelines of Jeremiah, Big ideas in Amos, Teachings of Jesus in the Gospels, maps, Big Ideas in Acts, Key works in 1&2 Peter, The Seven Trumpets ( Rev. 8:6- etc.) Its not a kids Bible, its the New International Version. I just find it makes an interesting book to pickup and read with all the contrasts and pictures and colors.mson's reign, telling you a summary of what's in the chapter and sometime questions are attached to it.

I highly recommend thsi!
I really love the N.I.V. Quickview Bible it helps you to visualize things and by doing so it also helps you to remember things better. In every book of the Bible it has a picture "summary" of what is in that book and what it is about.

It's always better to quote from the Bible
I often look in this Quickview, when I need to give encouragement, or peace of mind for one my friends. It's always better to quote from the Bible, that way you can't go wrong. I think the NIV is the easiest one to understand. Zondervan has been around for a long time. I trust it.
