FL Studio Producer, Edition 11

I've been using Fruity Loops/FL studio for over a year now and its been great. From having zero knowledge to now writing full songs, mixing and producing has been a breeze with FL. The interface is nice and clean, very simple and easy to learn. I've jumped around a little bit testing out demo's of Cubase and I've seen friends using Logic, but they just look way too complicated for me. I've also been sitting on FL studio 10 for a while since I was just trying to get the hang of it, but spending the money was worth it to be eligible for lifetime updates and the new even sleeker FL11 interface. I don't make electronic music myself, but most of the people I know personally that make EDM tell me that FL studio has been the best for it, and I can believe it.

When I was exclusively a Mac user, I used Logic Pro (through Version 8) to write and produce what a friend called "beep-boop robot rock". Now on PCs, I took a flyer on FL Studio (over Ableton) after playing with the demo for a week or so. In general, I'm really happy in the FL environment. There's a ton of smart functionality built in. Be warned: You will probably want to buy a lot of their soft synths. Most of what comes bundled in the Producer Edition (synthesizer/sampler-wise) is functional but boring. You do get a fine drum machine, a great beat slicer, and a handful of basic subtractive synths and miscellaneous others. But they give you the demos of the dozen or so serious synths they sell through their site. I had a hard time being satisfied with what was in the box after tooling around with those and ultimately upgraded to Signature Edition (which includes a full-featured sampler among other things), then added Harmless, Harmor, Groove Machine and a handful of sample packs. All told, I probably ended up spending $650 to feel like I had a complete tool set. With the stuff I added, I am SUPER satisfied. I was looking at the Ableton Suite ($800) originally, so I think I did okay. I will add, finally, that the FL Studio workflow is a pretty different from other DAW's, particularly when it comes to arrangement and routing. Having spent a little time with it, I do like it. Not everybody will, and I don't know that I'll be using it to track a drum kit or mix 80 tracks. Try the demo first, but give it a week before you walk away.

I got this for my son that loves to mix music, and this is a great product for that. You can use a midi with it, hook up a micro phone, do all kinds of editing, mixing etc... You can save all the music/songs you make. I wish I could be more accurate but I got this for my son and he knows all about it, and all I do is get to hear all the songs he makes. I will say he can sit there all day on the computer mixing music, so you have to make him stop and get away from it , very addicting if you have a love for music.

Anyone interested in making music that wants a cheap DAW should get this. They give you free upgrades to newer versions and it's extremely easy to use. The main use of FL Studio is usually EDM, however I mainly use it to make orchestral music and rock/metal. It works quite well and supports almost any type of plug-in you can imagine and recording multiple tracks at once is extremely easy. The workflow is very fast and its built around editing audio clips, you can cut and move audio clips around far easier than in most programs. You can also overlay 2 audio files that are on the same mixer track with the same effects, which I wouldn't normally recommend doing, but it's convenient in some cases. So if you want something cheap that will get you great results then this is worth every penny.

Great DAW! I can do so much with this. I produce, mix, and master all my beats using FL. It's easy to use, and there are many helpful videos out there to help out. Loading in samples and loops is also fairly straight forward so the possiblities are endless here!

I have not gotten it yet. I will let everyone know if I ever do get it. Very very disappointed.

Really an excellent DAW, they could make the fine print as far as what comes in this package more clear. Does not include hardly any plugins, which is VERY lame for how expensive it is, but other than that it met all expectations. They could throw in at least a couple plugins for synths and bass (sakura, sytrus) and I would give it a standing ovation... anyhow. Really cool DAW.

FL Studio ist sein GELD wert!!! Deshalb 5 Sterne. Dazu ist es noch mit lebenslangem UPDATE versehen. Das war für mich auch der Beweggrund es zu kaufen. Für Einsteiger sehr umfassend und schnell langweilig. Für Fortgeschrittene einfach super. Unterstützt VST PLUGINS, erkennt externe MIDI-Geräte und gibt es auch als 64bit Version. Einarbeiten nimmt viel Zeit in Anspruch, aber GUT_DING braucht immer WEIL. Die meisten integrierten VST Synthesizer laufen als DEMO!!! Für mich nicht das Problem da die meisten Presets der Synthis eh nach Radio klingen. Free VST's gibt es viele gute. und wer es dann doch mit den von imagline angebotenen Plugins probieren will/muss greift eben nochmals in den Geldbeutel. Ich habe noch nicht alles ausgereizt und habe FLP 3 als Demo kennengelernt. Dann mal mit FLP 6 Demo gearbeitet und war damals schon positiv überrascht. ABER RESPEKT wie es sich bis heute entwickelt hat. Ich nutze auch FL GROOVE für mein WIN RT TABLET. Multitouch ist natürlich super genial. Was da noch alles kommt. WAHNSINN. und dabei hat man nur 2 Hände :D Bleibt abzuwarten in wie weit man FL GROOVE im FL STudio integrieren kann. Habe mir mit dem Programm einen lange geträumten Traum wahr gemacht. Musik Musik Musik. und besser werden. Kann es nur Empfehlen. Zu mal ich nicht einmal NOTEN lesen kann. gibt für alles Hilfsmittel und natürlich ein Gespür für guten Klang. Nutzung mit M-Audio Oxygen 49 Tutorials gibt es massig auf Videoportalen. Und das kostenfrei. Was will man mehr?!- klar top soundkarte und diverse externe Effektgeräte und Synthesizer. Aber geht nur so viel wie der geldbeutel hergibt. Wer Anregungen und/oder Interesse hat seine Erfahrungen auszutauschen einfach ein Kommentar hinterlassen. Verschönere und erweitere die Welt durch Musik. Deine Worte kann nicht jeder verstehen.

Man sucht sich unter den unzähligen Instrumenten(z.B.Kick, Hat...Trompete,Gitarre,E-Gitarre,Piano usw.) und Plugins(z.B.Minisynth,Wasp,3Osc,TS404,Vocoder usw.) heraus,was man braucht und schreibt Melodien,Begleitungen,Effekte und Rhythmen, so wie man sie haben will.Ob Klassik,Pop,Hip Hop,Trance,Techno,Gitarrenstücke,Heavy Metal,Oldies oder sonstige Musikarten,es ist bei dieser Edition alles möglich.Das Ganze lässt sich dann mit vielen Plugins( wie z.B.Reeverb, ,Stereogestaltung,Equalizern,Effektoren usw.) individuell nachbearbeiten und immer wieder umgestalten.Bei so vielen Funtionen braucht es Zeit,um sich mit allem vertraut zu machen,man entdeckt immer wieder neue Effekte und Klänge.Selbstverständlich sind Midi Eingang und Ausgang vorhanden.Es kann alles gespeichert werden und Ton- wie Gesangsaufnahmen können gemacht und mit Effekten versehen werden.Meiner Ansicht nach lässt sich mit der Producer Edition professionelle Musik bis ins absolute Detail machen,ohne überhaupt ein Instrument besitzen zu müssen,und zwar so,wie man sie von den Charts und den öffentlichen Musikmedien kennt.Funktionen und Erweiterungen,die man vielleicht doch noch haben will,kann man auch später noch einzeln dazu kaufen.Die Installation ist problemlos.Man muss sich allerdings dann noch online registrieren,denn dieses Programm wurde über viele Jahre professionell entwickelt.Zugleich hat man,wenn man will,die Möglichkeit, mit anderen Nutzern zu kommunizieren.Das dazugelieferte Handbuch ist in englischer Sprache.Anleitungen und Tricks kann man sich auf You Tube ansehen.Demo- Stücke sind auch auf dem Programm enthalten. Was die Lieferung betrifft,so war sie innerhalb von 2 Werktagen gut eingepackt bei mir angekommen

This program is used by my 14 year old son. It is an excellent program and ideal for the purpose for which it is intended.

Brauche es für mein Akai MPK Mini Keyboard . Super Programm ,macht echt spaß damit zu arbeiten . Bin schon ein guter Musiker .Das ist sein Geld sicher wert . Die wo das Programm haben können das auch besädigen . Einfac nur Super ! .
