Burt's Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream, 3.2 Oz (Package May Vary)

I’ve been a Burt’s Bee’s fan since before it was cool, I’m talking 20+ years ago. I’ve also been an RN for almost 39 years.We wash our hands A LOT, hospital paper towels are like fine sand paper and to be honest? Super cheap.I think I am an expert on advising what hand cream works, believe me I’ve tried them all. I’ve had countless colleagues tout this hand cream or that hand cream.THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS!So the scent? to me it smells medicinal for lack of a better term.I honestly wouldn’t care what it smells like as I don’t get the cracks in the corners of my finger nails that are so painful and not to mention invite an infection. My hands are smooth and not red with tiny micro cuts in them. This cream has been my one and only go to for years.

This hand cream delivers. I absolutely LOVE the smell. It's a little greasy so I use it at bedtime. It sinks in quickly and does not stay greasy for too long. Very healing balm. It heals the cracks I get on my fingertips. LOVE Burt's brand.

This product is actually recommended by UPS drivers.It doesn’t smell that good but works great.You can always mix with a nicer smelling lotion.

I'm not a huge fan of the scent of this product, but I do like the results I'm seeing. My hands have been really dry from washing them so often, and I was looking for a cream to soothe as well as protect them, instead of just protect them like Vaseline might do. It works immediately, and I noticed results within one night of using it once. That said, it is very heavy in terms of the fragrance, nearly too much for me. It's very green, like herbs, but strong. It has layers of the scent, too, which are distinct. At first it's fine, then it gets greener, and then stronger. I just wish it wasn't so fragrant. That said, it is occlusive and soothing, and I love how my hands are feeling. It's texture is a mix between thick mousse and body butter and feels cold. It is yellow, and does kind of leave a hue behind, but nothing crazy. Overall, I like it for the winter but the scent isn't my thing, so i would have to say I won't repurchase but I will finish it.

Amazing on dry cracked fingertips & dry feet. As hospital chaplain i see many patients. Recently i reacted to our hand disinfectant we use when enter/leave a room. I tried soo many products to heal my hand. This cream did the job. I like the clean scent. Also works on dry feet.

This is a nice hand cream that smells awful! The smell dissipates after a while, but really bad initially.

I'll start off by saying the smell of this hand cream might not be for everyone, but I've grown to be fond of it over time. My boyfriend describes the smell as "ditch weeds" but would enjoy me putting it on his very dry hands so he, too, has become fond of it but doesn't like to admit it. I first tried this hand cream as a small sample size in the Burt's Bees "Hand Repair Kit" which I would recommend trying if you may be unsure if you'd like the smell of it. The hand cream is very thick and rather oily. A little goes a long way and will soak in to your hands pretty quick if you only put on a thin layer. Put it on too thick and your hands will be oily and slippery for a couple hours, so don't do that. It does leave your hands feeling very soft after a few uses. I have eczema and sensitive skin, and this hand cream has kept my hands feeling moisturized without causing any irritation. If you can get past the interesting smell, your hands will thank you for it.
