Sharp, precise, and surprisingly sturdy
I bought these for trimming small wires and plastic sprues, and they’ve been great so far. The blades are super sharp and give a clean, flush cut without crushing or bending the material. I’ve used them on electronics, zip ties, and even some 3D printed parts—no issues. They’re lightweight but don’t feel flimsy, and the grip is comfortable enough for longer sessions. Just a heads-up: they’re not meant for thick or hard wires, so I keep them strictly for precision work. For the price, these cutters punch way above their weight. Definitely a solid pick for hobbyists or anyone doing light electrical work.

Great side cutters / nippers for GUNPLA and minis.
If you're here for affordable side cutters / nippers for GUNPLA or other plastic minis... you're in the right place and can ignore the negative reviews. As of 4/12/25 almost every negative review is from somebody that didn't understand the use cases for this product and misused it. I won't exaggerate and call these fantastic, They don't cut as cleanly as a nicer set and can discolor the plastic, but they still work well enough to get the job done. *For those that don't know what GUNPLA/ or minis are; you're likely looking at the wrong product for your needs and should probably move on and continue shopping elsewhere. These are intended for plastic sprues and very thin and soft wire only. THEY WILL BREAK if used on any other materials.

Sharp and easy to use
Pleased with these small wire cutters. Good for light gauge wire.

Good, not great
They are good flush cutters, but the tips are not as sharp and pointed as in the picture. I was really hoping for pointed tips.

I would recommend!
Very sharp, great handle and comfortable. Seems to be durable but I’ve only been using them for a short time. I think they are a great value given the fact that I bought a more expensive brand and they didn’t last very long cutting soft jewelry wire. These have cut 16 ga wire with ease and didn’t dent or dull the cutting edge!

Quick and easy cutters for Cat 6.
These worked well to cut the plastic part of the Cat 6A cabling. Being able to quickly cut the plastic out, makes it easier to add the Ethernet connectors. Overall these seem to be really good quality, but I did put a small tight rubber band on it to keep it closed when dropping it in my pocket. Sharp and easy to cut accurately and nice overall design.

Great quality
They work well, are comfortable to use and comes at a great price. They cut clean and the loose piece doesn’t fly across the room. They have potential to last some time.

Great cutters for plastic
I bought these (have bought five so far) for Plastic model kit building. These cutters make wonderfully clean, flush cuts that need little sanding afterwards, and they are a great value too at only eight dollars. They are really nice and flush as they claim, which is better than some of the more expensive and popular flush cutters out there. I have to add a disclaimer though, as I use these for cutting plastic model kit parts from sprues, or cutting 3D resin printed parts from supports, these are excellent for that. They would probably be good for copper and brass wire as well. I would not use these to cut steel wire, steel pins, or anything steel really. They are too soft and brittle for this, and I learned that the hard way by trying to cut a steel clothing pin with one of these cutters and leaving a dent on the cutting edge, and breaking off the tip as well. Having said that these are still my favorite cutter for cutting plastic and have purchased at least five in the last few years to have around when I need them.
