3M 08946 Clear Silicone Paste - 8 oz.

If you work on your car's cars brakes and need to lube the caliper pins this is the product to get. It wont harm rubber parts in your car's braking system. Plus this grease has myriad other uses around the house.

Product is good but the bottle in which it came the quantity was 1/4 in the container. The brush provided was bent do that the grease could be removed easily. The container was not sealed. As such, I am returning the item.

Excelente para aislar tomar electricas donde haya humedad o mucho polvo, como en areas exteriores a intemperie. Tambien lo uso para lubricar engranes y sistemas de movimiento donde se necesita estabilidad del engrasante. Sirve para sellar roscas y ciertas conexiones. En general es muy bueno en diversos usos ademas del indicado en el envase.

This is a must for if you are doing a brake job on a car. It is a bit expensive but should last a long time so the value is worth it.

Quite pricey here in Canada but works well and there is no substitute product I could replace it with.

This silicone paste is like any other good silicone paste, but the thing that sets this apart is it's packaging - attached to the lid on the inside is a brush which allows you to paint the silicone on where needed. I like not getting silicone on my fingers. Love this feature!

I still use my last metal jar that I bought in the late 80's (I just used a screwdriver to get the last 10% off the sides and move it to where the brush can reach). This new bottle is just a replacement. I use it mainly for electrical situations where waterproofing is critical (Motocross spark plugs, golf cart plugs, ATV plugs) as it lubricates and makes the spark plug connectors waterproof. All of my backpack sprayers, hand held sprayers and anything with a rubber O'ring gets slathered. My swimming pool fittings, all O'rings, valves, and it's a must-have around the cars and trucks as it is truly awesome. Try it on any rubber seals and you'll see what I mean. Lot's of uses for a DIY'er and I find it indispensable. Get some and throw it in your tool box and 30 years later you'll be glad you did! Pro's: Too many to list Con's: 1.The brush is too short and you can't ever finish it off without using something longer to get to the goop. 2. Cost - it's expensive and always has been, but it does last forever
