Was Very Disappointed. This was a gift for our 17 year old who loves everything viking, and the Bear being one of his favorite animals. The pendent Broke literally right out of package. The chain is nice, and does come in nice little pouch but pendant needs to be made better.

My necklace came today, and I am impressed with the quality for an $11 item. The detail is great, and the chain looks masculine enough to be worn by a guy. It is exactly what I expected from the item description and photos. If the item page wasn't clear, the design appears on both sides of the pendant, and the tree roots even wrap around the edge.I can't speak to how long it will last, since this is day one; but it seems well-built. The weak point, I think, is going to be the lobster clasp.

Love it, lost my old necklace on a drunk night and needed a replacement. All my trucking buddies call me Stag anyway so this piece was perfect.

I've worn this pendant constantly (in the bath / shower / etc.) for almost a year now and while it looks "lived-in" it's not grossly tarnished (or oxidized, as I'd feared it would quickly become, given the price). While it's lighter than I'd like, the description makes it clear that the necklace is made from tin (or some tin-dominant alloy), so the lightness was expected. I can't speak to the chain because I swapped it out for another one I had lying around that was a bit thicker; that being said, I'm incredibly impressed that a $10 necklace is of this caliber. (It's also larger than I expected, too--about the size of a silver dollar. For the price I was sure I was getting something smaller.)Long and short: highly recommended, especially if you're looking for devotional jewelry on a budget.

Helm of Awe-Aegishjalmur, not the Viking Compass-Vegvisir. I knew that from the photo however before ordering and wanted Aegishjalmur. Seems like good quality pendant and chain. No complaints. Aegishjalmur is one of the most incredible Viking symbols and is one of my favorite symbols.

I like the front design of this product but the back is pretty plain and flat. I guess I was expecting something a little more solid and weighted. This is also not pewter but its pewter colored. It is a soft metal like material, not plastic, that is dipped in a finish giving the pewter appearance.I had it in my pocket at one point and sat on it by mistake; it bent. While I was trying to straighten it out I managed to scuff it a little. I went to buff out the scuff mark and discovered a copper colored material under the pewter finish.More or less it's costume jewelry or something decorative to hang up somewhere.

I love this pendant design. It's so dynamic in it's execution. It's not just a flat picture but a fully raised and detailed design that is textured and dimensional. The metal it nice and sturdy so it doesn't bend or give but it's quite lightweight which really makes this medallion practically wearable. The chain design is quite nice too. It's not just strong on a cord like some of these medallions. I was just really pleased with the quality and results of the piece.

I would say this necklace is just barely worth the $10 I piad. Don’t get me wrong, I like it ok, but if anyone looked real close, or listened to it when it moves on the chain, you cam hear it isn’t high quality. The chain is surprisingly decent and a great length. I may just look for a new pendent and put it on this chain. But the pendent feels like a game token or play money. When I walk or move and cause the pendent to move on the chain you can tell it isn’t good metal. For a teen or kid it would be fine, but as an adult I feel a little self-conscious about it. That being said, I am aware it was only a $10 item and that it said it was made of a tin material...I just hoped it wouldn’t be so obvious. Also, description says it was shiny, polished metal. It It looks aged but in a good way.
