Like most people, I'm now working from home and some extra help to get work done. My work laptop is a Lenovo 710 which only has 1x USB and 1xUSB C (there's also another USB C for power). That means I can't connect my USB headset for Zoom calls and can't plug into my TV when I'm working on spreadsheets. My requirements for a USB C hub was 1. small size and 2. HDMI and 3. USB ports. I'd recently bought a 100W Uni charging cable which I am using to power my laptop (and was impressed with the quality) so bought this Uni Hub.After a few days of use, no complaints at all. In fact I would say this Uni USB C hub is AMAZING! I bought this for my laptop but then tried it on my iPad Pro 11" and BONUS! not only did it work with my iPad, but I could also browse USB drives on my iPad. Like WOW WOW WOW. I didn't even expect this. Impressed. Yes, it also works brilliantly with my laptop.The USB C hub is extremely well built, lightweight but feels well made and looks professional. The included USB cable for connecting it to your PC is brilliant quality (like the other Uni cables I have bought). It's thick, braided nylon, with heavy-duty USB C plugs at each end. I obviously don't know the internal components, but plugging HDMI, or USB, or a microSD card was detected instantaneously. Transfer speeds on the USB 3.0 ports are fast. I was able to output from USB C to HDMI my 4K TV.Some notes on the build. the USB C HDMI has is metal, but it has a rubber outer edge. I like this design. You seem to be able to remove the rubber cover it but it actually stops the USB hub sliding around on your desk and getting scratches. It also means I won't think twice about throwing it in my bag when I can finally go back to work.No complaints. Windows and iPad compatible. Great quality. Super happy. I will buy Uni Accessories again.

Less than 2 weeks after I got it the trim piece around the plug came out. Now the cable falls right out of the plug when using it making it unsafe for transferring data as the plug could come out at any time. Might not be the case with all of them but I would NOT recommend this product.UPDATE: Reached out to support and they let me know that unit must be defective, stood by their warranty, and had a new one at my door in a few days. Been working great since.

I use this hub as part of a system for downloading GoPro videos while on the road. It’s compact and had a rubber sleeve to protect the metal box. The hub allows you to plug in a power source via usb-c. This port is not clearly marked however.

Top quality dongle! It is solid and very well done. It also have extra protection around to avoid damage. The transfer speed is awesome and it has all you need in one single dongle. I sue it in my mavic air 2, iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, etc

USB is pretty slow

Needed something that would allow me to connect my MacBook Air to a monitor, connect my USB keyboard, and use my microSD (storage). This not only does the job but is small and portable as well. Contacted customer service for product assistance and they replied within half a day.

Everything Works Smoothly

I kickstarted this item on February 2019 and been using this product since. Recently, the hdmi stopped working and it was the feature I used the most. I contacted the Uni customer service and they offered troubleshooting and once that didn't work, immediately offered to replace the product and I got the replacement 2 days after they shipped it out. The hub itself is small so it's great for portability and you have options to change the rubber portion. The cable that comes with it is braided so you won't worry about exposed wires or yellowing from white wires. I'm thinking about buying their charging cable soon since they have great products and amazing customer service!

Llego en buen tiempo y en perfectas condiciones pero no me gusto que solo trajera un rugged case y no dos como en la mayoría d ellas descripciones. Por lo demás es lo que dicen, un producto muy agradable y con acabado elegante. El puerto USB C es solo para cargas no soporta transferencia de datos.

Mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Kabel funktioniert der Hub gut. Mit dem Standard Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C Kabel von Apple unterstützt er, wie mein Test mit einem 2018 MacBook Pro zeigte, leider nur USB 2.0 Geschwindigkeit. Schade!
