Vacu Vin Coffee and Tea Storage Container - Medium, 1.30 Litre, White

This is just brilliant for storing coffee beans and keeping them fresh. I usually buy the 1Kg bags of beans, but my bean-to-cup machine's hopper only fits 250g. And I don't even like to fill that completely, as by the time I've gotten through it, the beans have really lost their freshness.There's a lot of controversy over whether beans should go in the freezer or not, and though I did do that in the past, a recent purchase from Spiller and Tait (whose product comes with lots of excellent advice) convinced me I should stop; and I also decided that a clip on the bag was not quite enough.Using this Vacu Vin to vacuum store half the bag was so effective, I decided to buy a second container so I could store all the beans once the bag was open, and just pour in 100g or so at a time. Now my coffee is fresh every time.

Vacuum only last a few days. Seal is not 100%

Work pretty well. If you don't be careful in use they can loose pressure. Also did not realise the don't include a pump which makes them expensive.

I have a few other vacuum containers from the same company and whether they retain the vacuum or not is rather hit or miss. However, this one works as it is supposed to. It may simply be that it has a better valve. The size is ideal for 500g of coffee beans and the pump is large enough not to have to be standing for ages extracting the air. Be careful not to vacuum too much air out though or the lid will crack!

Nice containers but they keep loosing there seal

Waste of money, do not buy as they do not hold the vacuum after a few uses

je m'en sers pour conserver le café et j'en suis content, bon c'est un peu pénible de pomper à la main pour faire le vide mais c'est efficacz

Benutze dieses Gefäß für meine Kaffeebohnen.Das letzte ist mir leider kaputt gegangen, weil ich übereifrig war und solange gepumpt hab bis der Deckel gebrochen ist. Scheint also sehr gut zu funktionieren.

C'est super il garde les aliments frais beaucoup plus longtemps grace au vide mais il faut avoir la pompe vendu séparément
