I accidentally bought a medium harness for my 10 week old labrador pup and was pleasantly surprised that we can use it! It fits a little off, but looks like it should fit great by next month. I would buy a small if I could do it again as my passed adult german short hair would have fit in the small size so the small would most likely fit the pup for a very long time. Maybe Ill update in 4-6 weeks about the fit when she actually has a neck in the measurement range.That said, it is a fantastic harness. The quality is great. The fit does not interfere with her shoulders or legs. We got the purple and black- it looks fantastic. I love the placement of the leash loops and the back handle comes in handy with a frisky pup.I would absolutely buy another harness in the future and am happy with my purchase.

We have two very active dogs and when it's time for a walk, they really get zealous about running ahead of us. The normal dog collar chokes them and the next thing you know they're coughing and obviously not comfortable. We had purchased one of these for our larger (mini-Aussie) and it did away with the chocking problem.After one or two walks, they very quickly adjusted and seemed to understand things were different now. Occasionally of course they do still get excited and pull, but with these harnesses it's much easier to control them without hurting or chocking them.Our smaller dog (adopted, but she looks like a mini-Pinscher) needed one too, so we ordered this one for her. Now, there's no chocking and they actually behave better with the more secure harnesses. Nice adjustment size differential - so both dogs use the same size.There is a great variety of colors available and a very useful size-chart (with neck and chest measurements) on the order page. Once adjusted to fit the specific dog, there hasn't been any slipping of the buckles.The harnesses are extremely durable and I especially like the clasp on the neck. We don't use that one all the time, but it's good to know it isn't mandated as an "over the head" harness. Also the clasp lock prevents accidental opening of the clasps.We compared a lot of different harnesses in the stores after we purchased our first of these. Absolutely non met the quality and price of these.

I first bought this harness size XL for my Ridgeback/Pit mix who is a strong puller for the first 10-20 mins of a walk or hiking.(90lbs, 21" neck, 33" ribcage, 24.5" abdomen, 24" from base of tail to shoulder blades)Stitching is tight and strong, no chaffing or irritation issues and fits like it should - the adjustability is awesome! We use this twice a day for 1 hour walks and on weekend hikes. So far we have gotten 2 years use out of them (YMMV). I just ordered our third one. The first harness lasted just short of 3 years, the second harness lasted exactly 2 years. We definitely do more hiking as he has grown so that probably explains the difference in wear and tear. I hand wash the harness monthly or after hiking or camping as he usually has it on most of the time.I love the grip handle and the overall placement of the straps which makes it easy to get a quick grip when needed!The buckles are easy to adjust, rings are solidly stitched in, and after a couple of tries, it goes on and off easily - assuming your dog is cooperative.My only "complaint" if you will, is that they don't have a version with saddlebags for backpacking or long hikes. First world problem, I know.

I’ve used it a couple of days now and it seemed very sturdy! Color is nice, only thing is that it’s a bit hard to adjust, at least I found it a bit hard. Other then that it’s good!

I love this harness! Since it snaps on both sides of the dog there is no paw lifting, which my dog appreciates. Excellent light reflectance and great colors!
