This item works perfectly for me. I have been using it for around 2 years now as I commonly get ingrown toe nails. It is most effective when you are able to constantly apply a fresh one every morning and evening for at least 4 days but I'd recommend doing it for 6 (which should use up the full package). It will make you nail extremely soft and help a LOT with pain reduction.Pros:* Effective* Relieves pain of ingrown toe nail* Makes remove of toe nail very manageable when used correctlyCons:* It is stinky! It will smell like rotten eggs when first applied but that will quickly subside* Must be consistent. The potency of the gel is only good for around 12 hours. If you do not re-apply it may lead to a longer timeframe of use.Overall I would highly recommend this product!

Works amazing! As soon as you put it on it starts to alleviate the pain. The bandages they include work really well to cushion the area and they stay put even for me who works on my feet all day in a very warm environment. I will say though the smell is awful. It smells like rotten eggs however as soon as you put the bandage over it most of the smell disappeared. It takes a few days/ around a week for the toenail to soften but once it does it’s easy to cut away the ingrown nail.

I got this for an ingrown toenail I had that had begun to break through the skin on the top of my toe. It was to the point that I was considering Partial nail avulsion. I had been trying to remove the ingrown nail myself at home and had ended up just breaking off part of my nail. The piece buried in my skin and beginning to grow through it was still there, and despite my best efforts, every time I tried to dig it out and remove it, I only succeeded in irritating my skin and causing more pain. Anyway, when I got this, I put the gel on and left it. I didn't see any difference and was frankly very disappointed. It wasn't doing too much for the pain and I wasn't making it any easier to get the nail out. I decided to put some more gel on, cover it, then go to sleep. This morning, I did notice that the pain was nearly gone and I was able to work without being bothered by the pain. (I work in a vet clinic and am always running around)I just got home from work about an hour ago and decided to see if there was any change. There was! With just a bit of pressure and the help of some tweezers, the nail piece came right out! It was an instant relief and I'm so glad I gave it a chance. I will let you know that the smell of the gel is horrid. Almost like rotten eggs, but I think it's worth it for the results. I would also recommend getting a small ingrown nail removal kit. I got the Bcabo one, and it worked wonders alongside this product! I doubt this product alone would be enough to remove an ingrown nail

The product does work. It does take time, but it will soften the skin around your toes to help you trim down your calloused areas warning, the smell is like farts. My entire family is disgusted by the smell. The smell doesn’t last long, maybe two hours, but it is really bad and smells like eggs, sulfur, and farts.

I almost didn't get it because of all the reviews saying the smell was horrific. If you stick it up to your nose you can smell it but it doesn't smell once applied and covered up. I don't know if I got a different product than some people. I was worried the whole house would smell it but honestly, I can barely smell it.After using three days I was able to scrap out the softened ingrown toenail. I got more out the next morning and will use a 4th day to insure I got it all. My toe feels a lot better after scraping it out and am glad I tried this instead of going to the doctor and having the surgery. TBD how long it lasts.

I had a hangnail on the right side of my right big toe for probably a year. I tried to fix it myself, soak it in the bath and fix it, even went for a pedicure and no luck. Next stop was going to be a podiatrist but I thought I'd give this a try first. I assembled the well, gel, and cover bandaid like it picture on the package and left it overnight. It hurt quite a bit but not intolerable. This morning I peeled off the outer bandaid easily, the gel pad thing was a little stickier coming off, but then the hangnail bit was white and looked puffed out a bit. I got the tweezers down kind of low and it just slid right out. I almost couldn't believe it. Something that bothered me for so long and it's just done overnight! I don't know if something is wrong with my nose but I really didn't smell the rotten eggs like other reviewers have. I didn't use much gel and only left it overnight. Maybe it reacts differently with different people. This was truly a great product for me and I will definitely use it again if I need it in the future!

I was desperate for relief and saw the positive reviews of this product. It definitely got rid of the pain. I followed the instructions to the letter and was pleased that it helped. But later, the section of the nail that the medication was used on (side of my toe) came off. I used this in April 2024 and it is now mid-November and the section of my nail that came off has NEVER grown back! This bothers me a lot and I keep checking for growth but don't see any. I sure hope it will grow back but it sure isn't looking like it will. (As other reviewers mentioned, it does have a horrible smell.)
