I would have liked white too but didn't see any available.

Q: Will this work at the end of a drain pipe past the btm of a downspout?

Yes yet it doesn't retract , it just lays there. If its windy it will fly around so i zip tie mine to the downspout.

Q: Can you place to go around corners if you unroll yourself?

Probably, if it is not a tight corner. I think a sharp bend would make the water back-up. It is just a thin plastic tube.
