Fast, smooth, and durable, but also a bit painful.
These skates are pretty nice. The bearings that these things come with are top notch Twincam ILQ-9 Classics, with grippy-yet-durable Hydrogen wheels (80mm, not rockered) atop their 7005 aluminum frames.Sizing wasn't a big issue with the chart provided by Rollerblade on their website. I snagged some Superfeet Insoles (their power and control model) to replace the standard foam insoles which come with the liners. The foam liners are dense and stiff, although there are yellow pads at the heels which are made of softer foam, presumably for shock absorption. If you can handle the vibration from rolling down a steep hill, you won't miss them if you switch to another insole. As for durability... I bought this pair as a beginner. I fell many times and really wore down on the sliders (the white, plastic pieces at the front of the skate). They're made of plastic and are pretty soft compared to the asphalt I grind them against, meaning that they wear down easily. The original sliders on my pair of skates have worn down to the nails keeping them on the boot. The cuffs and buckles seem as if they'll last longer than the sliders, probably because most of the damage I do to the sliders is from parallel slides (I slide at a steep angle). The liners don't really experience any wear and tear other than the upper portion (which hangs slightly out of the boot) and the areas where the liner rubs against the plastic of the boot. Be warned though, if any screw begins getting worn down, whether it's the screw connecting the cuff to the boot or the screws keeping the sliders on the boot, be ready to replace them before the screw heads get so worn down that conventional tools can't extract them from the skates.Performance wise, the boots roll like a dream. The bearings are premium and mildly greased, giving a smooth, fast ride. The wheels have a good amount of grip on the ground but are still hard enough for sliding. The boot itself isn't heavy, I can skate on one foot and hop a curb smoothly without the weight of the boots hindering me. Be wary though, these boots are heavier than the cheap 5th Element skates I started with.As good as the boots are, they do have some cons. The main one is that wearing them for the first time is painful. The back, outer part of my heels had to adapt by forming thicker skin, which still didn't prevent skating from being a bit painful after a few hours. The laces of the boots are also pretty thick, which might make any knots you tie with them prone to loosening up.Other than those gripes, the boots are amazing. I'd definitely try more products from Rollerblade, seeing as the Twister was such a premium product.

Order a Size up you will thank me
I originally ordered a size 8, I wear size 7 1/2 to 8 mens, well these are a size 8 and are just way too tight. Once I got them on after struggling to get them on they were great, I used a thin sock to see if that would make a difference but it didn't. Unfortunately I am returning these and ordering a size 9. I strongly recommend going up 1 size than your normal shoe size if you order the twister or pro. Other than the fit, they are great skates, much better than the ALU 84 Rollerblades, they feel sturdy, strong and easy to maneuver, as well as quick. I tested the extremely tight fitting Twister Pros in my house around my living room, we have tile floors it was fun until the tightness started giving me some pain. I will update the review with the size 9's.Update! With the size 9's, I skated around the neighborhood for over an hour on these, sizing up was much better, I also didn't have to wear a thin sock! Amazon Customer Service was Superb in understanding my issue with the sizing and took care of me immediately.I am enjoying these skates, I live in Florida where the roads are not smooth at all, and these skates make it much more enjoyable to skate in on these tough roads. The padding, the hydrogen wheels, and the shock absorber combined with the sturdy boot make skating easy in comparison with the macroblades, I had previously for a few days before returning them. The Twister Pros are the way to go, they give great stability, and the frame is lateral adjustable. Love these skates!

Worth. It. Wear 10.5 shoe purchased 11's
Coming off beat-up inline hockey skates, you can bet I have nothing but high praise for these. Great feel to the boot, just really outlines my foot. Shell locks me in; usually wear 10.5 in my street shoes so I went with the 11's for that perfect fit. I have been skating since just after I was walking, so I can only speak for myself when I say these feel like an extension of my foot. I experienced zero discomfort, and truthfully, the only problem I have now is not wanting to take them off. Comes with black laces, rolling with blue. Only posting images of blades with black laces because I couldn't find any out there... hope this helps
